You don't actually feel like playing a game, more like living the moment, truly. It's more than a game, more than a movie. I normally feel relief to complete a game, but MGS... It's such a bitter feeling to say goodbye to a masterpiece you've followed from day one, from the very beginning.

Truth is, even a movie could never best what Hideo has accomplished. Most Importantly, there's only memories in the end and It never fades.

"Snake.....had a hard life........" those words Otacon managed to get out really changed my life, truly. you say R.I.P Snake, thinking that Foxdie killed him...it didn't. Snake died of old age. and that song really brings the tears back that fell every time i beat a MGS.

Mgs3 was an amazing game and one of my favourites, Mgs4 was good but you were tripping over cutscenes every 5 seconds and felt like a movie rather than a game, Mgs1 was great, it was full of gameplay and you didnt have to watch shit cutscenes all the time and got two per boss battle and that was it and extremely fun to play with good replay value if you have the time to finish it all.

you know this game is amazing. I listned to this song after 18 hours of playing I listend to it and I was completly numb. The perfect ending song for this long journey.

I really dont know if any of you guys had the same incident in MGS4 I cryed when I was in Shadow Moss the reason why is that I felt a connection I was 14 when I played the first and when I played the last I was 23 years old I felt old like Snack everything was diffrent from where I was 14. my point is thats why I love this game.

single player was not bad but had almost no replay value, you got 63 different weapons but the cut scenes forced you to always have the m4 and the m1a4... which just killed it.

you had the m4 and you had the best sniper, F-auto, sneak and g launcher/shotgun

@inuyasha11231 in the end you never actually needed to use any other weapon since the m4 would get you through any situation, its ammo was also very cheap and could be found on almost any enemy.

in mgs3 you had to switch to sniper once in a while, you could cure yourself, and camouflage was not just to lay down on the ground and then it would change, you had to have either picked it up or mix something together.

while mgs4 let you save your camo, you had absolutely no reason to do it.

The most epic MGS ending song! It was perfect, it defined the game! MGS3 is one of the greatest stories ever conceived. It's only beaten by MGS4! I do find MGS2's opening song as good as this though.
