Traktor Kontrol S4 Audio Problem

I noticed this problem while messing with earlier versions of Traktor. If you don't have multi-core support, this problem will get bad when messing with a ton of midi transmission. I use an AKAI APC40 /w 2 turntables and external mixing, and while trying out other custom mappings I ran into the issue. I solved it by updating my version to anything >2.1.0, and turning on multi-core support. Now, I'm running Audio 6 @ 96000 Hz, 384 ms Latency and 2ms USB Buffer, absolutely no problems.

if your on a PC thats the problem, look at your CPU at the top and see how hard your PC is having to work to get the song to play. Buy a MacBook Pro and you wont have any problems, its plug and play. I had the same issue on my PC and it was a badass fully loaded pc and it still made the song skipp.

in my KONTROL while I'm playing a song, pops and crashes occur, I can not solve the problem. seems to be the same as yours, if found the solution let me know. sorry for english. I do not speak very well, I used the google translator. Tanks!

my problem is my A track just stops in the middle of songs .and this is while playing in front of 5 to 6 hundred peeps. i alaways have to have a acca ready to throw on.

does anyone know wats up?

Not sure if you found the problem if you have not you will need to update you S4 software.

change the lanthecy setting to 384  also make sure your sample rate is at 4100 if you use 4800 some tracks will eithere not play or they will have clicks or drop out it happen to me hope it helps

got it how to solve it...i just fix mine humm humm okey

1- you need to disable your touch pad drivers or disable from the control panel

2- disable the driver for the wifi and the enthernet controler too(internet drivers) all of them

3- on control panel chose :adjust performance and select for best performance and you done!!!1

Turned off my wifi but, I still got problems so I changed my latency settings and I played a whole set with ZERO under runs. Thanks!!

kind of old video but i'm having a problem too. I use gamebooster, the free optimizer, and I'm still having outages on my brand new i5 ACER laptop with 4gb of Ram. The new update did nothing at all for me. I'm going to try turning off my internet as well so hopefully it works. Also if you are having problems still try Gamebooster it really makes your CPU run more smoothly.

@eduardoRYT the main reason it sucks its because it takes away the possibility to do a dj battle because you can send through wireless your master clock which is you bpm at the moment..

and the other thing is that you could download at any moment whatever you wanted and spin it on your s4..other than that you re ok..!

Do these glitches happen everytime at the exact moment with every song?

Have you removed the software on your computer and reinstalled it already?

i had a problem with mine it was audio drop out similar to that, i ended up buying a seperate soundcard called maya44 usb since then no problems wat so ever, also u r probably best waiting till 1st of april wen u can get the new software an its free for all s4 users shuld solve all problems hopefully

i think its the laptop ,, try a smaller buffer , and close all programs , and also try a friends mac if you have one

@djglobeone actually... using a smaller buffer would make underruns happen more often... Try a larger sample size.
