I've been trying to get a WP for months. I can't find them any place, but I have heard that several people who purchased the WP through the National Geographic special offer in 2006 have had success in California, Texas and Florida.

It's been 2 odd weeks since I repotted my pine with new soil, and to be truthful the fucker doesn't look too swell. All the bottom branches turned brown and are dying off. These plants are so fickle. You can't even do an Irish River Dance around these things unless they're taking offense and slowly dying. I've never seen such a pain-in-the-ass tree as these fuckers. They're not worth the effort, or price, really.
After a week of repotting my pines with new dirt and placing a catcher under the big one I own, the bottom stems of the tree have turned brown and are in sufference. These trees are too, too, too fucking....finnicky.
P.S. and under no circumstance are you to prune them either! I repeat pruning a Wollemi Pine does jack shit for the tree! It doesn't promote new shoots or growth it just reduces them in size. I pruned mine once and it's now half its original size. And all these cocksuckers intruding on the land where these trees were found are introducing germs and fungus to the fucks. So once again man fucks-up everything he encounters. If we were to meet aliens we'd fucking eat them out of curiosity.
Don't believe that shit about the "WP" not liking too much water. I think all these scientist studying these trees are so posessive that they're killing them alone. If you buy cocopeat bricks and dump them on top of the soil be prepared for it to create a layer that absorbs all the moisture this preventing the water from reaching the bottom roots. If your tree looks like it's suffering it's because the soil is dry and needs new shit. They hate the sun and burn easy.
