Trying to own guns there is a bad idea and I've learned that from watching your videos. They really show how the Government is trying to keep you oppressed and I understand your need to resist that but the problem is you dont have enough people to make a difference there.

@geofrichubs Thanks for asking... right now it's still waiting to go before the judge. That is scheduled to happen on May 13th. The Crown keeps telling us its a waste of time and money to fight them. Guess they expect my family to just give up. I'll post more news as it happens.

When you say you're doing a "Constitutional Challenge" i trust you know the Charter of R&F is merely a statute, and grants no legislative authority, and says so in section 31? The only document that qualifies as a Constitution in Canada is Magna Carta - which outlaws what the Ontario government is doing.

I don't understand how they can forfeit your home under the Civil Remedies Act for a firearm possession related offense. The Act was created to forfeit the proceeds from a criminal activity, or to cease goods used in a criminal activity, or if a defendant is unable to pay the fines imposed by the court.

They can take anything and everything, without ever arresting you or laying a charge. You are left having to prove that you've never done anything wrong. That's impossible. according to Bruce Montague .ca your father is in jail. they don't lock people up for starting petitions and trying to change the law, the Ontario Civil Remedies Act only makes provisions to take from those who have committed crime, now i can't really comment on weather or not this is just because i can only find your side of the story. why didn't the news want to cover a story about an arbitrary seizure of a house? Occam razor says: your not telling us something. lie by omission, no sympathy.

@eventheinnocent you are not correct. There is no requirement under the civil remedies act for the person to be convicted of a crime. You don't have to be charged or even arrested for them to take your property. Don't believe me? Read the act for yourself.

@kateysfirearmsfacts I hate to tell you this, but the Canadian Constitution is a sham. It is worded in such a way as to offer NO protection, should the judge choose to interpret it that way. Not to say that a good lawyer can't get you the result you're looking for by "playing the system", but the document itself is basically a fraud, a deception.

@eventheinnocent under Canadian law, the only way you can challenge the constitutionality of a law is to have what they call "standing". the on;y way you can have "standing" is if the law is affecting you directly. The only way THAT can happen is if you're charged for violating the law in question. My dad challenged the constitutionality of canada's firearms act the only way he could, by breaking the law and get charged.

Due to the fact that I'm a US National I don't know how to send you anything useful. However I do understand and sympathize with this ridiculous crap law. Here in the states a lot of municipalities use asset forfeiture laws to strip stuff from people when they may be, not necessarily are, engaged in what is thought of as being criminal activities. This would also include real estate.
