@MinimunWage I just wish it was more like the original game is all. None of that holding buttons to do new moves, Hit A is different than Push A (for some reason) And it's all just too confusing to the average person. Aside from that, there's no multiplayer ;-;
@MinimunWage Funny how more people remember Double Dragon than any game in the Nekketsu series. Especially since any and all Nekketsu games are better than any Double Dragon released.. xD
@MinimunWage i really feel like arguing, but this video would prove me wrong, even though this is all animation and not gameplay. and double dragon has one of the best music though, we cant disagree on that.
this looks different from the american version. i dont remember slick being able to use powers to raise objects....i do remember him being some what easy to beat....the real challenge was the eveil double dragons
Its a fan made remake, but yeah, in NES version he wasnt able to do that shit, In the DS remake he was able to do it thought, or at least I remember doing it playing as him with a code
actually, neither Saotome (guy in blue) or Sugata (white) said anything. All that happened was that Kunio got back up, said his infamous "Namen na yo!" (Don't doubt/underestimate me!) XD
actually that's originally from the PC-Engine CD version of the game (ya know, TurboGrafx-16). notice how the character's mouth was moving - that's cuz the game, being on a CD, had spoken dialog X-D nothing like having talking sprites.
I just want to say that every new little custom video for Downtown Nekketsu revives my love for the series. The fan community is so awesome, I only wish I could read Japanese so I could really appreciate and understand this more.
Has the game been completed yet?

I love Sueshiro and Okita's battle with Matsudo.
It's so epic!

if the game play would be like this in the newer version, this would become the best sidescroller ever created.

Atlus just isn't the same as Technos was. It lacks the same classic Double Dragon system we all grew up on and loved.

know the address where they can download these games?

What an amazing use of EX sprites at the end. Another stunning job by these guys.
