@MrJimiJoe the light that says check doesnt mean there is a problem. There is a vehicle information panel on the roof right above the windshield with lights. There is a button that says check, when you push it detects electronical sensors and if something is wrong it will tell you on the panel itself. After you push the check button the icon under the guages will go away. Its just a standard precaution us bmw owners have. :) i have the same car it's a convertible with 2" lower. 5 spd.

@MrJimijoe there is a check panel above the windshield that measures oil level, washer fluid, lights, etc. most likely a non-issue, as when this light comes on you look at the check panel, see the issue.

in my(poor quality) video i do a 0-200 run but yours is quite a bit faster.

Sorry this might sound retarded but how do you run coilovers in an e30 because if you look at the rear suspension setup the spring and shock are in completely different places. I've heard of doing an e46 M3 conversion into an e30 but at the moment I am puzzled as to how you fit e30 coilovers in the rear? (thats the idea i got from reading the thread)

@andy9876543210123456 - Spring from original location is removed and new springs are installed on top of the shocks. New springs are with 60mm diameter. However, bodyshell has to be modiified to fit these new springs. Same way the springs were installed also to BMW Motorsport Group A E30 M3 cars.

nice work man.. i have a rebuilded and modifyed m20b27 N/A in my e30 and i have a 3,64 lsd waiting for it but now it have a 4,27 on i think and it is just about right for my drifting purposes :)) so i want to know if you are using the stock b25 transmission or the M3´s two pieces getrag..?? (sorry but i dont know the codes of the transmissions)

@e30Hellchild - Yes, 4,27 is better. If possible use even 4,45 or some sort of BMW Motorsport diff ratios. I still have original transmission. It is so cheap. Even if it breaks down it is possible to have it replaced for less than 100 usd. Other cheap transmission to use is the one from M50 engine. However, using M3 or M50 transmission with fift gear ratio 1:1, I do not suggest to have diff ratios greater than 4,27 or 4,45 for drifting purposes.
