This isnt heavy at all, the Mark V is capable of huge tones when paired with a low tuned PRS. Listen to Chevelle, every song is recorded with a Mark V amp in the rig, thats a true heavy tone
thank you for the diversity of your video. So many just show the distortion. As someone who is looking for a new amp I wanted to hear what the mark V sounded like clean. Great playing by the way.
I love what I've heard about the 245, but so far most of what I have seen is shown through Paul Reed Smith so can you play a song using its cleaner warmer tones more often than distorted? If so, I recommend Since I Been Lovin You by Led Zepplin. Thanks.
I agree. My guitar is pretty sick so whenever i can afford one i'm certain i can get a good tone like this with the right settings. wish i knew what they were lol.
I agree. This is the best sounding demo of the Mark V I've seen, too. However, I thought I heard something that wasn't the Mark V, like some sort of outboard gear. Anyone know if this is STRAIGHT through that amp, or if he's using any signal processing, an effect of some sort, or anything? I tried out a Mark V in the store and it didn't sound like this! This guy makes it sound INCREDIBLE! I love this amp and the sounds I'm hearing. If I could make it sound like that, I'd buy one today.
What your hearing is pedal tone, where he lets the root ring out as well as open strings , it sounds like delay but its not, country players use it a lot. An illusion if you want :)\
Awesome Sound!!!

Great playing but the Mark V sounds really thin here. And for mid gain crunch the Electra Dyne just kills this.

all that tone out of that little combo?

that thing has some great harmonics for a boogie.. my dual rec nor f50 can pull that really. the dual rec is great just not as harmonically sensitive

I thought I heard a bit of delay. And I wondered, if I'm hearing dealy, maybe he's using something else, too.
I could be wrong.

no delay, just harmonic overtones baby.
