NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHY DID YOU PUT IT BACK YOU COULD OF GAVE IT TO ME I WOULDVE LOOKED AFTER CAREFULLY AND GOODLY (not even a word) even though i had 82342793469846 pets b4 that died
when I was at the beach I found a bottle covered in barnacles and when we picked it up a octopus came out we played with it then it was tough getting him back out there we gave him his house back and gave him back to the ocean :D
were do you live and what beach is that called i love beaches with those little lol idk the name but the little spots with water rocks and smaller creatures...now i fell bad for eating them lol please respond i want to know
The blue-ringed octopuses (genus Hapalochlaena) are three (or perhaps four) octopus species that live in tide pools in the Pacific Ocean, from Japan to Australia. Despite their small size and relatively docile nature, they are currently recognized as one of the world's most venomous animals. I know this isn't one, but ...
I loved going tide pooling in the bay when I visited Monterey. The ocean there is so beautiful. The most incredible stretch of coastline I have ever seen in my life.
hehehe i wouldnt do that here in Australia! Pick up a blue-ringed occie here at that will most likely be your last trip to the ocean. Great find though, cute as hell!
my cephalopod brothers and i often creep around beaches or fishing piers looking for baby humans to drown for several minutes under the water for our harmless observation. they lived you faggots it isnt cruel! see how dumb you sound when you whine and cry about peoples observation that this was an incredibly stupid was to analyze a marine creature and how THEY are morons?
@inhalefarts Dude, octopuses are known to wander out of water for quite a while, BY THEMSELVES. They have an 11 percent blood oxygen level compared to a fish's 3 percent, meaning they can survive longer without breathing.
If you come to Australia and you see an octopus with blue rings and the size of a Golf ball don't pick it up as they are poisonous and will kill you...........
LUCKY!! when i went to montery all i found was starfish, sea urchins, anenomes, and fish!!! hey btw what tidepools did u go to? i went to the ones down the street near the mexican restruant...
i go to the sea every time the only things i found is fish and crabs a lobster once......stupid animals i wanna hold n octopus to but isent that dangerous ??
@Quontomleeep right - you should know about animals before touching them... those you mentioned (in case others might not have guessed) are extremely poisonous and can kill a human!
@RealBigDaddyD Lots of poisonous critters here but it's usually only a problem if people are ignorant and or try to catch ,kill or handle them .Leave em be and it's you're cool .
You guys need to calm down. It's one octopus out of who knows how many babies and the experience to actually see one and hold one, it is awesome :) It didn't die and there were interested in it. If you had the chance, you would also take a peek at it too!
@brainfoodlunch - Not to worry, octopus are actually okay out of the water for short periods of time. In aquariums, they've been known to sneak out and wander over to nearby tanks, eat all the fish in them, then climb back into their own tank. :P
SOOOOOOO CUTE!!!! but at least it wasnt a blue-ring. i hate em!!! i went to a marine nation park today and i found a blue-ring devouring a crab 3 times the size of it!!! it was just amazing wat they can do.
this little guy is an exeption, but other octopi will bite the shit out of you with their beak lol, not fun when the tentacles wrap up your arm, and you attempt to dislodge it, resulting in it moving to your second arm lol....
You should never pick up an octopus unless you know what you are doing... some of them can be extremely poisenous... here in australia one of our most deadly animals,,, sea, or land,,, is the ''blue ringed octopus'',,, now im talkin possible death in 5mins... so just be careful!
Nice to see yo put the little fellah back. They are probably by far the most intelligent Invertebrate. Think of that when you're eating one pirateosity.
Judging creature by it percived inteligence is the very same argument use in favor eutanasia of mentaly ill or handicaped peoples.
You are a moralfag, the inteligence you percive in it do not matter. A large octopus would eat a baby if it fell into it aquarium without guit. The octupus is free of all that moral faggotry.. in fact i think it is more inteligent then you are.
Will i dont find octopus to be appetizing, i dont see any worng in eating them. Prove me worng?
