  • this whole vid, everything about it is one of the prettiest things i've ever seen!

  • :D

  • Shortly afterwards, the mans hand became dismembered once the octopus finally raged and used his razor blade teeth to cut off his hand

  • Wow, I don't think I'm brave enough to touch an octopus with my hands.

  • You know some of these are fatally poisonous, I wouldn't handle these unless you know which ones are.

  • he dows:s

  • he does:s

  • @150133 not poisonous. venemous. difference.

  • So sweet ... :)

  • wtf u guys have octupuses man, i live in the fuckin desert im pissed!

  • can they breathe on land? and are all of em poisionous or none?

  • @JERKMONKEYYEH

Octopuses can breathe on land for thirty minutes at most.

Some are poisonous, and some aren't.

  • Joe Rogan says, "Now eat it for $10,000."

  • hey, next time pick up the ones with the pretty blue rings ok? take a video too, it'll be hilarious

  • @Supertasticaquatics haha id love to see the aftermath of that

  • @KkF00 will do. Just wait 80 years

  • hes so squishy looking owo

  • that is cool!!!!!!!

  • It reminds me of a monster movie, it quickly pulls itself over a rock( your hand ) and grabs a victim...

  • they have a beak that can bite and is painfull

  • ide keep himm!!!

  • AAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWSSSSSSOOOOMMMMMMEEE!!!!!!

  • when I was at the beach I found a bottle covered in barnacles and when we picked it up a octopus came out we played with it then it was tough getting him back out there we gave him his house back and gave him back to the ocean :D

  • did u used sea water or just normal water?>???????

  • were do you live and what beach is that called i love beaches with those little lol idk the name but the little spots with water rocks and smaller creatures...now i fell bad for eating them lol please respond i want to know

  • @1andre33 The uploader wrote that its from a tide pool in Monterey CA

  • soon they will grow and destroy jack sparrow's ship...

  • so cute, these things are truly amazing and these little guys, make you feel kinda bad about eating the species

  • I like that you let him go happily at last : )

  • Nice things come in small packages......so does poison. the smaller the animal the more need to deffend itself so.........take care when "fishing" ^^

  • IT BUUUURNS IT BUUUUUUURNS!!!

  • The blue-ringed octopuses (genus Hapalochlaena) are three (or perhaps four) octopus species that live in tide pools in the Pacific Ocean, from Japan to Australia. Despite their small size and relatively docile nature, they are currently recognized as one of the world's most venomous animals. I know this isn't one, but ...

  • awww but eww

  • if this vid was shot by a korean it would ve been titled "finding an snacks"

  • where was this? awesome video

  • awww i wouldent hold that becuz '' you made me ink '' lol but i think its cute

  • omg i think ive been there.. i didnt find any octopus i thot it wus those big ones but dang those r smal..

  • I loved going tide pooling in the bay when I visited Monterey. The ocean there is so beautiful. The most incredible stretch of coastline I have ever seen in my life.

  • That is so much cuter than the octopus I found in a rockpool once.

Yours was adorable and probably non-lethal; mine was nearly half the size of its deep rockpool. And it was a blue-ring octopus.

I wouldn't be as brave as you to stick my hand round in rockpools :/

  • its so cute! i want a pet octopus :O

  • I shall name him Squishy, and he shall be mine. I love you if you know what that's from.

  • @TammyTheDevil03 finding nemo... i hate that movie

  • @myztichydra I love that movie. ^^

  • hehehe i wouldnt do that here in Australia! Pick up a blue-ringed occie here at that will most likely be your last trip to the ocean. Great find though, cute as hell!

  • THAT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!

  • Thats awesome...there is nothing else to say...

  • OMG! I want one and I'm going to name it George!! :D :D

  • my cephalopod brothers and i often creep around beaches or fishing piers looking for baby humans to drown for several minutes under the water for our harmless observation. they lived you faggots it isnt cruel! see how dumb you sound when you whine and cry about peoples observation that this was an incredibly stupid was to analyze a marine creature and how THEY are morons?

  • @inhalefarts Dude, octopuses are known to wander out of water for quite a while, BY THEMSELVES. They have an 11 percent blood oxygen level compared to a fish's 3 percent, meaning they can survive longer without breathing.

  • @Goof245 haha, you just pwnd him.

  • @Goof245 Exactly. Its more like holding a crab (which have gills structured more like book lungs i believe) than holding a fish.

  • id keep him and call him squidward

  • @SNESGENESISGUY14 isn;t SQUIDward a squid

  • @nefarioustoast no he's an octopuss xD I've heard the developer thing for the spongebob movie xD

  • @SNESGENESISGUY14 for how long though? because octopi can sneak out of aquiariums or so I've heard...

  • @SNESGENESISGUY14 More like Octodad. Yeah...train him to be a human and have a family. (If you haven't played Octodad, then..your really missing out)

  • you do realize he's not breathing throughout the ordeal

  • thats so adorable

  • Thats beast

  • hey this place is awesome is it in Californian i want to go there sometimes is it near Monterey bay aquarium please tell me

  • @MonsterMeo

tell me too, i live in monterey but have never seen anything like this, still havent even been to the aquarium yet :(

  • Pirates of the Carribean or what !

  • will if it was d blue-ringed... RIP :)

  • He's all like aaaaaaaaaaaaa!

    Woop wooop wooop

  • If you come to Australia and you see an octopus with blue rings and the size of a Golf ball don't pick it up as they are poisonous and will kill you...........

  • @ricturtle thats wat i was thinking tooo

  • LUCKY!! when i went to montery all i found was starfish, sea urchins, anenomes, and fish!!! hey btw what tidepools did u go to? i went to the ones down the street near the mexican restruant...

  • If we conserve their habitat and make sure there are plenty to live full lives, then I don't feel bad about eating them.

  • SOOO CUTE :D

  • whoop-boop boop-boop boop-boop!... dr.zoidberg get BACK here!

  • If you pulled that out of a rockpool in Australia, chances are, YOU WOULD DIE!!!

  • I feel a little bad from the way it's squirming around but it's just so damn cute I can't really complain. I'd have done the same thing.

  • Cutee. :]

  • little did they know....it was gonna eat jonny depp

  • i go to the sea every time the only things i found is fish and crabs a lobster once......stupid animals i wanna hold n octopus to but isent that dangerous ??

  • monterey's the shit. i love living here

  • sweet =D

  • Don't try this in Australia mate, especially with the cute tiny ones with the pretty blue rings !!!

  • @Quontomleeep right - you should know about animals before touching them... those you mentioned (in case others might not have guessed) are extremely poisonous and can kill a human!

  • @Quontomleeep EVERYTHING is poisonous there :(

  • @RealBigDaddyD Lots of poisonous critters here but it's usually only a problem if people are ignorant and or try to catch ,kill or handle them .Leave em be and it's you're cool .

  • cuuuuute!

  • AWWWWWW. :3

  • For some reason, I find that adorable.

  • This makes never want to octopus again. Not because it's gross, because they're so amazing.

  • ok u r

  • eat it

  • @612bullet your mean

  • @AJH0014 o nice

  • @AJH0014 wtf are u on,,,how or when did i claim i made this video ,,, all i said to U was that it wasnt a blue ring octopus ,, thats all i said ,,

  • @AJH0014 ya but its not ...so ?

  • cute little octopussy. I love the nature. We have to respect life and the beauty of it.

  • Its all like "ROAR :O"

  • your lucky you found it cuz if i did i would of busted out the sauce and i would of eaten it live on the spot!

  • aw, its so cute! and so wrong to eat them, shame on you humans! shame on you!

  • Thats so cool...

  • i want one as a pet.

  • me 2!! they look so kewl i jus really want 1 as a pet

  • otocpus eat what?

  • Wow, that's really nice. What a great find.

  • You guys need to calm down. It's one octopus out of who knows how many babies and the experience to actually see one and hold one, it is awesome :) It didn't die and there were interested in it. If you had the chance, you would also take a peek at it too!

  • omg put him back put him back he cant freakin breeeaathe!!!

  • @brainfoodlunch - Not to worry, octopus are actually okay out of the water for short periods of time. In aquariums, they've been known to sneak out and wander over to nearby tanks, eat all the fish in them, then climb back into their own tank. :P

  • SOOOOOOO CUTE!!!! but at least it wasnt a blue-ring. i hate em!!! i went to a marine nation park today and i found a blue-ring devouring a crab 3 times the size of it!!! it was just amazing wat they can do.

  • i wouldve kept it :D

  • a purple octopus that size can bit and kill a large man within a half hour. even experts don't ever recommend holding octopus...

  • ITS GONNA INK YAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • haha we hav a vinard in santa maria and i tried holdin one he found in the pool and it bit me a bit so i fukin threw it lik shit way onto the sea

(ps tht wqas 4 years ago)

  • damn it's so cute :}

  • Animals that live in the water should stay in the water. common sense.

  • this little guy is an exeption, but other octopi will bite the shit out of you with their beak lol, not fun when the tentacles wrap up your arm, and you attempt to dislodge it, resulting in it moving to your second arm lol....

  • You should never pick up an octopus unless you know what you are doing... some of them can be extremely poisenous... here in australia one of our most deadly animals,,, sea, or land,,, is the ''blue ringed octopus'',,, now im talkin possible death in 5mins... so just be careful!

  • Naww its cute =]

  • I got a baby because it came out of a rock I pulled up on a scuba diving trip.

  • It's hungry.

  • that reminds me of those sticky wall toys u get outta quarter machines at wall mart.....pretty kool

  • Hang in there, little guy.

  • its a sea creacher it NEEDS WATER

  • @eman5112 seriously

there is a vid where some stupid idiots are screaming and poking an octopus on an airbed in the water for a long time

this video was not cruel i find

  • no octopus can survive as long as there gills are wet they can easly survive a ew minuts out of watter

  • cute

    I think

  • wow i cant beleive u even picked that up there are some small octopus that are extreemly poinsonus and can kill u ina couple hours

  • @dylanmrcool

    only the blue ringed octopuses

    or am i wrong?

  • oh yea lol ur right

  • how ever i heard they are all poison but not deadly

but i dont controled that fact yet:)

  • yea they are all poisones so just use caution with them but alot are non deadly to humans

  • thanks i didnt know that for sure:)

and so we learn something every day lol

  • I ate octopus today, is that a sin?

  • @ParallelSolutions

    Ye..

.. u will get raped by the bigger octopus .. somewhere in your life (:

  • nope unless yu enjoyned the fact it was dead

food is food as long it wasnt rare i personaly dont care

but i have the feeling iwill get thumbs down like hell:(

  • Nice to see yo put the little fellah back. They are probably by far the most intelligent Invertebrate. Think of that when you're eating one pirateosity.

  • Judging creature by it percived inteligence is the very same argument use in favor eutanasia of mentaly ill or handicaped peoples.

You are a moralfag, the inteligence you percive in it do not matter. A large octopus would eat a baby if it fell into it aquarium without guit. The octupus is free of all that moral faggotry.. in fact i think it is more inteligent then you are.

Will i dont find octopus to be appetizing, i dont see any worng in eating them. Prove me worng?

  • Nurse. tubetubetube is out of bed again.

  • Not even a jet of ink. It was like he was saying hello.
