  • @leiefilm

    Yes it can

I wanted to go on friday to see the f-22 but i went on saturday

  • that looks so sexy

  • can the b1 move its wings like the tomdat?

  • The Russian Blackjack Bomber had it's big problems. The B1 Lancer Bomber had it's big problems. The Vulcan Bomber had it's big problems. Bombers are harder to maintain than Fighters although many Bombers around the World in different Countries have outlasted the lifetime service of Fighters.

  • I was there all three days, This has to be my favourite Aircraft of the event :)

  • Nice video!!!!

  • Lol they sure are plagued with problems, one problem after another, flaps first then nose gear, and she's still sitting out at Amberley broken, hopefully they'll get her back to Texas soon !

  • @BeforeBurn haha sure are. even the B-52 pilots were making fun of it! but still it was a mind blowing display by the B-1, definitely has been my favourite at the past 2 airshows ;)

  • lol i think i saw myself xD

  • what a power , have seen once this big plane was doing a roll at Nellis AFB

  • lol. the lancer is a awesome site. but they are plagued with problems.

I can't wait for the replacement in the B1-R. New one will have max speed of Mach 2.2 using 4 Pratt & Whitney F119 engines (originally developed for the F-22)

  • that jet was loud!!! wen i was their

  • Also the great thing on Monday was the B-1's stayed very low on take off with heavy fuel loads and caused some car alarms to go off in the Avalon airport car park :)

  • The B1 turned up at 5-15 on saturday did a pass then landed and was still at the end of the runway 30 mins later, travelled from Brisbane to see this demon and only got one pass, still better than nothing-the noise was awesome!!

  • I heard one of the pilots saying on saturday that the aircraft that was flying developed a computer fault, the flaps weren't operating or something and thats why it didn't fly when it was supposed to.

  • @ wcb67

B1B did show up after the show had finished.....it was just after 5 i think it turned up. made 1 flyby and landed.

  • Glad you guys saw the B1B on the friday! There was no show of the B1B on Saturday 5 march. The organisers tell lies each year just to get the crowds in.

  • @wcb67 Not true at all. The B1B had flap failure and so did not fly. There are no lies, all aircraft fly with operational/safety requirements permitting.

  • @chrisjeffsmusic I heard it was a fault with the landing gear, not the flaps? Perhaps I heard wrong? On Monday, it took off again to fly back from the US, and had the same problem with the landing gear. It did a few circles around the tower, had to burn its fuel, and eventually landed back at Avalon for the engineers to look at it.

  • @AdelaideJetB0y

I heard there was a issue with one of the flaps on Friday night, but on Monday when both B-1's took off the display B-1 which was the lead B-1 on take off had the nose gear stuck down. I was there on Monday and saw both B-1's take off and have photos of the nose gear stuck down, also saw the F-22's take off and do a vertical climb to come back after the tankers had taken off to do a slow pass in formation.

  • No hyperspeed? Aww man!

  • Awesome vid. I was there Friday and must have been within a few metres of you, because i have a clip on my phone from a similar position. Dont suppose you were the guy with a camera on a long pole? I was curious as to what kind of footage he would get from such a small camera.

  • @kangaroosa Thanks. Didn't have the camera on a long pole. Tripod.

  • nice
