  • his vocals give me chills @ 2:30 +

  • @mholdr it is like another man singing after 2.30. especially if you listen to the song after 2.20. nobody in this world can sing like him just incredible.

  • i like how his diamond ring sparkles at the end as he raises his hand. sweet!

  • Elvis is a legend, with great songs and a beautiful voice. His music will never die Millions of fans worldwide have proved this.. It is everyones right to post what he or she sees in the vidoe clip, but I honestly dont see the need to post such derrogartory comments,

  • I cannot believe that people don't hear and feel what I feel, when i hear such a voice. I am so much impressed and touched by his songs...unbelievable, that only 1 "unlike it". To all those who choose "unlike" :

I am so sorry for your deafness! To all who "like it": Brothers and sisters, god bless you all ...greetings from cologne, germany, Elvira

  • I think his performance of Hurt really shows his vocal range much better ,but this one is great too

  • yes gay

  • @tdevil101; He was a FAGGOT for god's sake :(

  • @s13hgp yeah that automatically makes him a shit singer right? Do me a favor go kill yourself.

  • you should do it for Hurt

  • the king always and for ever i dont care what anyone one says about him cause hes not around to defend himself thats why all these years people have tryed to destroy his name the only one who hasnt are his true fans the unjudgemental me being one of them did any of us really know him personally no

  • You'd have to search for an opera singer to get this kind of performance. Only 2 notes shy of a 3 octave range his voice was incredible. Name me a mainstream performer that can sing any song out there like this man could. There isn't any. Seen here at the zenith of his power and talent he appears "god-like". Keep in mind also this is 1973 when no electronics existed to improve the quality of your voice and performance. You either had "it" or you didn't.

  • ONE OF THE BEST SONGS THAT SHOW THE POWER AND RANGE OF ELVIS

  • Old saying garbage in garbage out. Elvis didn't deal in garbage. He was a perfectionist when it came to his music. He put his heart and soul into every note. That's why his music is as relevant today as it was over 40 years ago. If an artist wants to be remembered like that, they should be very careful of what they choose to record,

  • gives me chills at the end when he hits that high note!!!

  • I saw Freddie Mercury 2 times: 1977 + 1982...He was spectacular..No question about it, but he brought this sort of cabaret/torch song attitude and combined it with Hendrix...Genius to be sure...E combined Hillbilly,RnB and Gospel, and transposed that over every song he did...Genius as well...It's a waste of time to compare vocal quality since, at the end of the day, the voice of a good singer comes from his soul. For me, E had a bottom end timber that gave his voice depth n intensity.

  • @JWirtel You are very lucky to have seen Mercury in concert, Freddie and Elvis are my two favourite songs. They just had that kind of voice to entice people. Have you seen E in concert?

  • He is the best voice.

  • Dear perfomers of today

    This is why you suck.

  • Is this from the rehearsal show?Love the ending too.Awesome.The Impossible Dream from M S G is a top G at the end.WOW.Pretty impressive for a rock n roll singer.

  • @thewsca Yes this is from rehearsal show thank you for comment Elvis is not only king og rock n' roll he is king of music...

  • @thewsca; For a rock & roll singer? This man is the SINGER !

  • Kippenvel liedje

  • JAMAIS ME CANSO DE VER E OUVIR ELVIS...TÃO LINDO, COM UMA VOZ AVELUDADA...MARAVILHOSO, UM VERDADEIRO DEUS.

    ABRAÇOS

  • this original song, Gilbert becaud the great french singer !

  • Elvis is the BEST singer! He has the best voice ever. Freddie has a more feminine voice. Elvis has a very clear, POWERFUL and MANLY voice. Long live the King Elvis Presley.

  • @danilno How masculine or feminine the voice is has nothing to do with how good it is, and Freddie could take much higher notes, had far better technique, and thus was a far better singer. Im not saying anything bad about neither of them, its just facts.

  • He reaches three octaves at the end of the song. The only time he did it, and that´s right here in this clip.

  • @pulmon66 i dont think that was 3 octaves o.0... was it?

  • Elvis, the best voice!

  • Elvis is the greatest entertainer of all time and the way he sings this song is just pure perfection and power. Elvis the king forever.

  • freddie mercury? Oke... freddie mercury had a very good voice, sure! But realy not like Elvis Presley.

I talked too my choir master about Elvis Presley. She told me that on the university ( the conservatory) Elvis Presley is a concept and that he has (one of) or the best voices ever. There are peaple with great voices, bet what Elvis had, is a gift.. And i agree for 100% with that.

  • @Mr85Gregory Different voices. No one could beat elvis in rock&roll just the same way that noone comes close to Aretha in soul and gospel

The thing about Freddie that's fantastic is that he could sing literally everything...

Had a wider range than Elvis and could sustain notes with more power...

I prefer Freddie but to me there are 4 top singers: Aretha Franklin, Elvis Presley, Freddie Mercury and James Brown. In my list Freddie comes 1st

  • @PicKPiT. I'm not agree with that. Not that i am saying Freddie dont have a good voice, he realy do.. But on the conservatory where i talked with peaple about (great singers), Elvis Presley realy have the biggest name. Also with gospel and other kind of music (then rock and roll ) he could do anything with his vocal range, power and abillitys. Someone said: befor Elvis, there was nothing. And i agree with that. Because of Elvis Presley singers like Freddie and Aretha are fame now.

  • @Mr85Gregory Im not refuting that... Im just saying that, despite the fact that Elvis created a new aproach to singing and technique never seen before, so did Mercury... He was incredibly influenced by Elvis and Aretha and used those influences to create other things equally amazing... I doubt anybody in the music world (not even Elvis and Aretha) could sing half the styles Freddie sang and nail each and everyone of them

  • @PicKPiT Yes i realy love the styles notes etc of Freddie. Also his range. Tho Elvis could sing everything, sometimes i even think, is this country or rock and roll ;) We will never know what he would do now. this days. But i dont think Freddie beats Elvis in vocal power and ranged.

What i realy love very much is the possibilitys is hits notes as bass and tenor.. well he was more a bass baritone.

    Thanks for your responce. :)

  • Joe Esposito said it best, "The one thing that never abandoned him was his voice."

  • Truly THE KING! O God what A Voice!!!

  • Just Imagine if Elvis was had walked on stage on American Idol as a finalist.....I think the judges would have all fainted, and the other bozo's that call themselves singers would have quit. THIS is the standard of singing.....and not one other human being who has, or ever will walk this earth, could ever sound like what you just experienced watching this video. Elvis truly is the greatest who ever lived!

  • freddie mercury? please....

  • Pure magic.

  • freddie mercury has a better voice

  • @floda56o elvis is better

  • @floda56o i agree

  • This is so beautiful and that powerful voice of Elvis.........Love you much Elvis. Thanks for sharing this video it's absolutely awesome xoxox

  • He seems more happy and energetic in That's The Way It Is!!

  • Amazing!!!

  • these people today cant compare to this man thee best of all time!

  • Elvis the king forever.

  • I wanna hear today's top 40 puppets {Kid Rock, Timberlake, Kenny Chesney, John Mayer} try to hit these notes. Elvis still sings circles around any male superstar on the charts today.

  • @BloozeDaddy76 You got that so right!! That's why ELVIS is still the KING and always will be!!!!!!!

  • All these years...and this performance still gives me goose bumps..wow..Elvis was truly gifted

  • Powerful performance ... a song tailor made for the King ... 10 stars ********** Great video ElvisZone ... favored,>>>>>> Matt

  • it seems to me in this concert he seems more out of it a little dont get me wrong i know he stayed of drugs to prepare for this show but compared to the real concert he was more relaxed and energetic what do you guys think

  • "Here comes the scarfs tumbling around me"

  • When i die i want to see my family , and Elvis ... Nothing more , Just my Family And GOD!!

  • It's a beautiful song and Elvis really does it justice. What a voice! I love the two Aloha shows. And it's great to hear Elvis thanking the audience - it became a trademark! Anyone who says Elvis wasn't the best singer, need to watch this.

  • Thankyou ElvisZone, and thankyou King of Music. Elvis was something else, the peak of male beauty inside and out.

  • all that amazing talent he had and not one ounce of self obsession or any thought he was any better than anyone else, artists today dont have a fraction of his talent and they're full of themselves. What is the world coming to

  • @MrSean677 Totally and absolutely agree!!! Elvis is even bigger than how the world sees him. Very humble, never forgot where he came from...There is no current singer out there who has a fraction of this man's talent, all talking about sex, women, swearing in their songs etc...Pure crass is what each and everyone are - you want to hear REAL music, the way it should be done? Listen to Elvis!

  • @Oghiaph Yes you are so right!! i agree with you!! and this New Music today I would not even call it Music

  • @MrSean677 Very close to the truth!

  • @HanSomKan1 I'd say that I'm spot on with that, but everyone has their own opinion

  • If I only had 2% of his talent...

  • i believe Elvis was Christ coming back to visit ...I truely believe this

  • Amazing performance!

  • he knew at the end when he was smiling that he killed it how can you get better than that my man elvis you are #1 and nobody can top that we love and miss you tons god bless the man who had it all and gave us so much more thanks KING

  • so amazing, his vocal power and range was immense. the complete american performer: blues, country, rock, funk, ballads, and crooner ballads, Elvis merged them all into an unsurpassable cataloge of superb music

  • Beyond words!

  • the best version ever, thanxs The King

  • Would love to sing like this! Amazing song

  • @JerecTheDarkJedi take a look at Johnny Reel doing this song. He can do it... and he's on YouTube. The best Elvis singer since Orion.

  • Purely Epic.. This song hits me right in the Gutt

  • No one has ever come close. They will be listening to this man 100 Years after he's been dead. One amazing man. A true star..

  • @TACMAN518 Its not only his voice, his look and persona as well, he had the whole package unlike any other artist that existed. He's the epitome of what everyman wants to look like and be

  • One of the artists who survives through all generations..

  • Can you imagine what elvis would sound like with all the advance sound improvments now? he went by what they had in the 70's which is nothing compared to a studio making a person who can't sing a note putting them out a cd today.ELVIS WAS AND IS THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER THIS WORLD HAS SEEN

  • @MrGoldenboyart Ha... you must have been his maid or something....I bet he enjoyed the sex with you?

  • @RoykeltonO and you are probably taking turns with him. FAGS

  • @MrGoldenboyart Heheheh who the fuck are you punk? You think your opinion matters? When Elvis himself, Johnny Cash, The Everly Brothers, The Eagles, Bono, Jackson Browne, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, The Beatles, and MANY others say the Big O was the best I will consider their opinion... The opinion of a professional singer would matter and that cream cake you are not. So you do not have the credentials to matter. You are no singer and not a musican. Understand pea brain? Prob not.

  • @RoykeltonO and who gives a rats ass? move on to something else you argumentative prick.

  • @RoykeltonO Wow roy not only are you a racist but you show everyone just how filthy of a mind you have and your posts show how immature you are as well.

Grow up and stop playing with your parents computer.

  • @MrGoldenboyart How am I a racist? I have never said anything negative about skin color on here. Your just mad that you have been trumped on here. You made some mistakes about facts and you are a big baby when someone calls you on it. You are the one who needs to get out of mom's basement and take a shower. Hey, maybe you might meet a REAL woman and then you can throw out your blow up doll? Just a suggestion.... First you have to give up men.

  • @MrGoldenboyart Please dont continue to say shit... it will just make him say more shit. And thats what it is SHIT. "The Greatest signer PERIOD. Are you the final authority on who that greatest singer would be? Did you know Elvis personally? how do you REALLY know how much charisma was in his little finger? And what, if you are not a fan you cant' post here? Do you "OWN" this site? You did not even post the original video your crybaby fag.

  • @guitarheroplayer94 Your filthy mouth and childish rants are really fun to read. So you are a roommate with the racist and yet you make homophobic comments while living with your racist partner. That's called a hypocrite. Go back to playing your toy guitar hero PS3 game and leave the serious comments to grown ups. I bet a little 10 year old could get you upset and make you post rants too. Just steal your game control or your barbie doll. You're too easy. You and your (cough, cough) Roommate Roy

  • @MrGoldenboyart Look we can't help it your a fag.... Or that you keep sending me shemale video links. Drop dead diaper rash. Hahahahahaha. Look how MAD I made you on here! That's whats really funny. You know the only other person I have heard of called "Golden Boy" was a wrestler years ago who went by the name of "Adrian Golden Boy Adonis." He was gay by the way and died of aids.... probably like you will someday!

  • @MrGoldenboyart You are the one who is mad on here! Hahahaahahahahah! Just look how mad you are! You are so mad that you post comments and relent, removing them so you don't embarrass your sorry ass. Now go jack off while you play your Elvis 45's Old man rive,r and do the youth of the world a favor.... You know what to do.

  • @MrGoldenboyart NO ONE GIVES A SHIT ABOUT YOUR OPINION princess, NO ONE. YOU, like everyone else here has opinions and NO ONE really gives a crap. You are a NO BODY and not a tear will be shed if you drop over suddenly. GET IT?

  • @guitarheroplayer94 If you didn't care about my opinion they why are you posting a reply. see everything you do and say is hypocritical and shows you lack of intelligence. You should stick to playing with your toys and playing with your racist roommate roy/supafly. You both are racists and bigots, slandering people you've never bet. Grow up and learn to spell. It's not Your, it's You're for " you are". Just shows YOUR lack of intelligence and childish behavior. YOU'RE a little punk.

  • @MrGoldenboyart LOL I should learn to spell? It's "met" NOT "Bet." Stooooopid. Kinda makes you look foolish don't it? See, I NEVER slam anyone no here for spell errors...Because I type fast and don't give a shit about spelling on here... kinda like no one gives a shit about your opinion about Elvis! Punk... It's easy to be a tough guy a million miles away but the truth is you don't know who you exchanging smack with on here... Fat boy. Now go blow your cat or Elvis some more.

  • @MrGoldenboyart Lot's of removed comments? What's the matter penis face, can't make up your mind on what you want to say? Hahahahahahahaah! What a DUMB ASS!

  • beautiful!!!!!!!!

  • Incredible voice this man had,no other compares.Great upload.

  • @mrforeverelvis1 Just an opinion... and subjective of course. But there were many great singers who had or have amazing qualities... Dean Martin, Sinatra, Aaron Neville, etc... Elvis himself said many times that in HIS opinion Roy Orbison was the greatest singer in the world.

  • I`m speakless!

  • @pasahoover And you cant type either.

  • ll my hairs are up!

  • @pasahoover prob your weener too.

  • what can you say after that? THE KING. On a level so high. Performers couldn't come close to this man.

He stands alone at the top. However, it can get quite lonesome there.

  • Elvis` beautiful singing and performing is just so wonderful and always so captivating!!!

    Brilliant share!!!

    *allstars and more*

  • Thanks so much for posting! Amazing sound quality.

I can listen to this voice over and over and never get tired of it!

  • Elvis at his Best on What I class as Powerful Ballads

This is without doubt the Best performance of this Song

I Like the Cheeky Look Round at Band & Backing at end

As if Saying "See I Hit All the Notes" !!

Let See the Elvis Impersonators do This One

You can Impersonate Voice & Moves

But they Cannot & Will not capture His Charisma & Stage Presence

The First & Forever UK TeddyBoy

  • no, stupid usa n uk didnt want2buy it2c live, shame

  • This is what singing, and talent is. Forget everything else. It is all an attempt to perform. This is perfection. The best vocalist that has ever lived. Pure emotion, power, and range. This video displays the truth. Play this for the American Idol kids. This IS the standard. Good luck future singers!

  • The best Singer ever on this planet !!!

  • @BdragonW64 No... Roy Orbison was.... Elvis himself said so.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrGoldenboyart Wrong... Do a search in YouTube...for "Elvis introduces Roy Orbison." Even Sonny West said Elvis told him many times "Roy Orbison is the best singer in the world," and " I wish I could hit those notes like that boy can."

  • Comment removed

  • @MrGoldenboyart But I agree with Supa... Elvis himself said Orbison was the best and he wished he could sing like him. In fact he said that several times in interviews and confided that very notion to several friends. SO if Elvis himself thinks Orbison was better then he are you saying that pulls no weight? How did he put anyone down anyway? We could care less who you think is better but I do care what the artists think. Peers my friend not amatuer opinions.

  • @MrGoldenboyart How is he reaching? Because he corrected you about Mario Lanza? You made the incorrect remark the Lanza, in Elvis' opinion was the best singer.. when in fact, and I researched this too, Lanza was his "favorite" but Orbison was in his opinion the greatest in the world. So you can speak for Elvis? Somewhat childish remarks I would say my friend from you....So George Strait has had more number hits than Elvis but does that make him a better singer?

  • @MrGoldenboyart and one more thing while I am at it.. as a vocal coach I can tell you that Elvis missed several notes in this clip and in fact was flat on at least two parts... he also lacked vibrato control in two or three notes. While this was an excellent sing by the king, it was not his best and of course it's live and that makes it rough... but I have listened to several Sinatra and Orbison live recordings and have heard flawless stuff.

  • @RoykeltonO Vocal Coach, that's funny, go back to teaching kindergartners to sing. You must post here during recess. What's next Superfly? You've already had your account banned once already. Let's have some more attacks from you so you will get banned again you with your racist comments.

EVERYONE check out Superflys comments he's made using racist/vulgar words. This Royskelton is the same person just re-opened account 7-28. Same racist person. Elvis wouldn't want you for a fan anyway,LOL

  • @MrGoldenboyart Maybe YOUR the king? You speak for him all the time and say "Elvis wouldn't want this or that..." He's dead mother fucker..... DEAD for over 30 years get over it. Move on.... He was not greatest SINGER... the greatest entertainer YES... not the greatest voice... what of the vocal talent of Aaron Neville, Freddie Mercury, Orbison, Raul Malo, Glen Campbell, Humperdink, Sinatra, Crosby, Martin etc... Your wrong on this and the Lanza thing. WRONG/FALSE info. you're good at it.

  • @RoykeltonO I will agree with you here even though your a homo like Mr. "GoldenboyFART." They are dead and no one can hear em sing again. Now I also happen to think Orbison was the best (who cares who had a deeper richer voice or better range etc...) WHO CARES. But Elvis did say several times he thought RO was the best. He also said Dean martin was his favorite singer... then Mario Lanza, bla bla bla... SO THE FUCK WHAT!

  • @MrGoldenboyart Hey Mozart... you are an asshole elvis fanboy... Supafly is my roomie fuckface not this pud and he aint a racist and he didnt get banned. Now go blow yourself or at least blow up your inflateable elvis doll. You both sound like a couple homos whining "My guy is better than your guy." Queers. Elvis and orbison are fuck'n dead so who gives a shit whos better.

  • @guitarheroplayer94 if you dont like elvis stay off his you tube site.

  • @savammy I never said I did not like Elvis. He's great. Just not the greatest pure vocalist that ever lived like every Elvis fan thinks.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrGoldenboyart Oops... just going back and checking your spelling errors... Here's one! It's RoykeltonO not Royskelton. Oops!

  • @RoykeltonO SO... it's a live performance dipshit.... everyone makes mistakes and I am sure Orbi did too... God what do you two have shrines set up in your bedrooms to these guys??? Get a life and move one.... he's DEAD.

  • @MrGoldenboyart No sir, Elvis had said he considered Mario Lanza to be his "favorite singer" not that Mr. Lanza was the greatest vocalist. Sorry but you were wrong on the point sir.

  • THANKS FOR THIS !

  • Love Elvis rich powerful husky tone, such range, agility and power!!! Major goosebumps down at my spine!!!

  • the best part is from 0.00 to 3.19

  • This is why he got beyond " The King" ...

  • what a voice ! incredible !

  • Nobody Can Sing It and Perform It Like Elvis Presley , He Had The Entire Package ! Thanks for Posting My Friend ! TCB DANNY

  • Always love Elvis powerful husky voice, his range was crazy, he was one of a kind!!!

  • Ruth

Couldn't have said it better. knowingelvis has given us background to many unanswered questions. He's a gem.

  • what are the last notes?

  • There's Elvis and then theres everyone else :D

  • amen to that comment

  • it truely is an unbelievable voice, thank you for this great clip

  • It's very simple. This is the King and the only King forever.

  • theres so called stars, super stars, mega stars, then theres elvis presley no one comes near

  • @personalbjw Elvis is alpha and the omega of music. There is no one else.

  • just answer me one thing, could mj hold these notes like elvis, no way!!!

  • Amazing to be able to produce a sound of such quality in a studio but to do this on stage, under the pressure of doing the Aloha show was just incredible. No wonder they call him The King.

  • @hirdy6 That's the reason stars of the 80s, 90s and 00s lip sync to prerecorded music at their concerts. Elvis is the best!

  • it's pretty simple really..the man had a voice..on loan from..from God.

  • I don't know what they call that ability to shout while singing at the end of the song, I just know that he had a few gears that most singers don't dream of. Love the trademark "yeah baby" at the end too

  • amazing vocal power at near the end of the song, most amazing!!!!!!!

  • Unbelievable this man!

  • what a powerfull voice and great song, this man is really missed but will live longer thsn anyone of us n history and still doing live concerts in memphis sold out every year at the perimid look in the gunniss book of world records, R I P elvis, still selling recodings and finding more songs to be released sure do miss this man when he was in vegas there was standing room only sold out every night two shows each evening. and sold out concerts where he went till the end

  • who can sing like this...? No one, never, but Elvis...

  • It's been said Elvis had a profound need to be loved and yet was never sure that anyone actually did, especially since the death of his mother.

I just hope he knew that about 1.5 billion people shared their love for him this night. What a magnificent performance!

  • "There comes a point when his voice starts to wash over you. You get inside of it, your feeling every word and emotion, you start to really hear what he's doing, and you realize his singing has this extraordinary, effortless quality to it. At times it's like listening to the voice of an angel, then others , as if your stareing down a tiger.. Immeasurable talent, that will never be duplicated or equaled.. IF

  • @IFICould2

So well said....Amazing comment! Incredibly true...

  • Incredible.
