If the Bible is fake then how do you explain this. Science during the old testament times said the Earth was flat. Everyone who believed in science thought the Earth was flat. In Isaiah 40:31 says that "He sits enthroned above the CIRCLE of the Earth." The Bible said the Earth was in fact a sphere or circle. We know this today to be a FACT. Science is always changing. We think one thing but then we find out it might be wrong. The Bible is TRUE.
@UFOwnz what about the passages that say "the four corners of the Earth?" or the fact that Pythagros proposed the spherical theory back in 6th century BC in Greece? couldn't the "circle" of the earth be interpreted as a metaphor or circular as in a plate (which is still flat?) even if that passage was implying the world was round, it doesn't negate the fact the bible states plantation existed before the sun, that a virgin woman gave birth, or that an elderly man created a boat.

@UFOwnz i'm actually reading the KJV right now and it says "circle" but in the Strong's concordance it does show "sphere" in the Gesenius's Lexicon. i'll give you that much, but there are a lot more discrepancies in the bible. Psalms 93:1 "The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved." the word translated for world is the same as Earth (pt 1)

But we don't know how long there years were then. 500 could only mean 35 in our years. The oldest person recorded in the Bible was Methuselah, who lived 969 years. Now Noah, who built the ark, was around 500 years old (there years) when he built the ark. So you can't really say he was "elderly".

Because the old testament of the bible was simply the recordings that the hebrews kept of their past and didn't mention Jesus other than in prophecy, and the new testament came from the dead sea scrolls which were not altered other than through translation. Which means no one added or removed anything from the bible.

There are way too many gods to even choose from, most of the bibles stories came from other religious books made before it. You would have to accept all gods or none to be correct in saying there is a ultimate creator or to say things are imperfect or random.

If the Bible is fake then how do you explain this. Science during the old testament times said the Earth was flat. Everyone who believed in science thought the Earth was flat. In Isaiah 40:31 says that "He sits enthroned above the CIRCLE of the Earth." The Bible said the Earth was in fact a sphere or circle. We know this today to be a FACT. Science is always changing. @UFOwnz what about the passages that say "the four corners of the Earth?" or the fact that Pythagros proposed the spherical theory back in 6th century BC in Greece? couldn't the "circle" of the earth be interpreted as a metaphor or circular as in a plate (which is still flat?) even if that passage was implying the world was round, it doesn't negate the fact the bible states plantation existed before the sun, that a virgin woman gave birth, or that an elderly man created a boat.

@UFOwnz i'm actually reading the KJV right now and it says "circle" but in the Strong's concordance it does show "sphere" in the Gesenius's Lexicon. i'll give you that much, but there are a lot more discrepancies in the bible. Psalms 93:1 "The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved." the word translated for world is the same as Earth (pt 1)

But we don't know how long there years were then. 500 could only mean 35 in our years. The oldest person recorded in the Bible was Methuselah, who lived 969 years. Now Noah, who built the ark, was around 500 years old (there years) when he built the ark. So you can't really say he was "elderly".

Because the old testament of the bible was simply the recordings that the hebrews kept of their past and didn't mention Jesus other than in prophecy, and the new testament came from the dead sea scrolls which were not altered other than through translation. Which means no one added or removed anything from the bible.

@zebraman60 I want to point out that even though the bible is really the only place people think to look when they want to know of Jesus's existance, there are many other ancient secular writers (such as Thallus, Pliny the Younger, and Suetonius) that all mention the fact that Jesus existed. Also I wouldn't say noah took two of every animal on the ark unless I was explaining it to a child or someone who I don't want to get super into detail with, so that wouldn't count as a contradiction.

Actually, there is a source outside of the Bible that mentions the darkness that occurred during Christ's crucifixition. Julius Africanas quoted Thallus who wrote a history of the middle east from before the trojan war to 50AD. Thallus best explanation was that it was an eclipse. However, Julius Africanas explains that there was a full moon during the passover (christ's crucifixtion) and therefore could not have been an eclipse
