@Skippywus This recording was taken from a Songs of Praise programme back in November 2007, and checking on their factsheet, it says that "Footprints" is available on a CD called "Absent Friends" CD No. KDCD01, hope this helps.

He has given such happiness to so many people over his 82 years - go and see his live show and be overwhelmed with laughter and pleasure till it hurts! And don't book the taxi before 12:30 am!

me too im only 26 and i found him so so funny, you cant really beat him....hes a rare one, doesnt need to swear or be offensive to be funny. He is a true comedian and I hope he continues to share his talents for years to come x

@TheSteptoeYard I've seen Kenneth Arthur Dodd a few times at the Bolton Albert Halls, he's a true legend, top entertainer and an total and utter gent. I think he still does 3 or 4 shows a week and he's now 83. He certainly does it for the love of his craft and that craft has most certainly been perfected by Ken Dodd. The only reason he doesn't carry on after 00.45 is that the car parks lock up at 01.00. I'm sure he'd still be on stage at lunchtime if he could.
