  • the worst video i have ever seen.He doesn't understand horses much.......

  • thank you so much for filming this. I have watched it over and over and every time I learn something new.

  • @pjproudify You are so welcome, that is gratifying!

  • Great video, too bad the sound quality mLLOW

  • @sunaJH Yeh, even in the auditorium it wasn't always easy to understand him on his remote mike...poor acoustics.

  • for demonstration purposes one has to be a bit heavy handed. wouldn't be much of a demo if one stands there waving a whip and the horse just stood relaxed, would it?

  • We love Clinton. My wife has used his techniques for years with our horses. Check out the video "Genie Carport" for another de-sensitizing idea.

  • THANK YOU MR> OBVIOUS CLINTON ANDERSON! if people would take the time to go out with a horse and learn this stuff by themselves they would save alot of money. What obvious stuff he says in this video.

  • one problem i have with my horse is that whenever i wave the whip standing in front of him, like he did my horse charges me-does he feel threatened?

  • @lillypad32226 sounds aggressive to me

  • @lillypad32226 Sounds like a lack of respect. You horse may need to learn some manners. I would go over the fundamentals of groundwork. Hope everything goes awesome!=]

  • @lillypad32226 I had this same problem. Check out Friendship Training. Your horse really may be trying to tell you that he is uncomfortable w/this excersise and is reacting out of fear. Hope all goes well for you! =)

  • You just hit me! I swear you just... I thought you hit me.....

Well maybe you didn't hit me....

Favorite part. So how my mare thinks.

  • he's so funny..i love listening to him, this one is great!

  • This makes a lot of sense. He's a bit more heavy handed than I'd like to be, but what he's saying is smart. Thanks for posting this :)

  • @BarebackRider13 THanks for commenting, I like your channel!

  • @horsepaintings Thank you! :)

  • @BarebackRider13 heavy handed really?? not even close BUD!!

  • @plygal Yep. He's more heavy handed then I'd be with my horse. Not dissing him..Just an observation. Everyone has their own opinions...bud :)

  • @BarebackRider13 heavy handed? he never even touched the horse.

  • @jscsquid I made that comment back when I was Parelli brainwashed..A majority of what I do with my horse is purely Clinton Anderson..Funny how things change ;)

  • If you prefer Arabians, as I do, Tommy Garland works almost exclusevly with them. Check out CPR for horses on here or check out his web site. Clinton Anderson is great as well, and his techniques work well, regardless of breed or discipline.

  • Where did you film this?

  • says in the desc., West Springfield MA Equine Affaire, Nov. 08.

  • he is such a horse racist my friend was at one of his demos and asked him if he had any tips for her to train her Arab and he asked her why she would get an Arab and then told her to go get a quarter instead

  • @bomber326

    ha, thats not racism :S

it's like saying 'my favourite breed is a fell pony' does that mean it's 'racist' to other breeds?

perhaps he prefers quarter horses to arabs?

  • @FellPonyz

he told her to sell her arab and get a guarter pretty much he only works on quarters to me tht is a form of horse racism

  • @bomber326

    ok,

why would he be a 'horse racist' ?

he works with them and obviously loves them to bits..

yeah, well if he works on quarters.. then he obviously thinks that they're the best horses to work with.

its an opinion, he didnt call arabs anything.

  • Comment removed

  • i've seen him work with an arab before and he didn't say anything that made me think that.

  • @jumpersofthemoon ya im sure he was just kidding around and making a joke people need to learn to joke around about horse breeds and not get so offended. Quarter horses are known to be level headed, arabs are known to be high strung, so he was probably saying "Why would you go and get yourselves one of those, when ther are these lovely creatures?" lol

  • @bomber326 haha he was just joking around with her she just took it the wrong way. I prefer QHs too but I like every horse no matter what breed. why would someone ask for tips for training right after they seen a whole demo on tips for training?

  • He usually uses a demo horse brought buy a local person attending the clinic.

  • too bad one doesn't understrand a thing

  • I love seeing these videos come to youtube, natural horsemanship deserves everyones attention, especially how it teaches the horse to love and appreciate you, and keeps the two of you from getting hurt

  • tehe i love this he is so much like the guy who broke one of my horses and re-trained my pony. i love the whole "if you accidentally hit the horse.." and the horse will be like "U HIT ME" and then "nah i didnt..." "oh i thought u did....did u? maybe not...ok no.." lol

so true and brilliant and funny.

  • Whos horse is that???? I'd really like to know if anyone knows

  • thats clintons horse

  • Its either his or a demonstration horse
