Regarding Punk -The Briefs are a modern band doing 'old-fashioned' punk. They are more the Blondie New York Grunge type, and you lot probably would hate them for being punk-homage, but it's great to hear guys still singing about Orange Alerts, Neutron Bombs and Communism. I like 'em, but then I'm an 80's guy. Obviously I'd love it if Devo sarted recording new stuff.

My punk friends had a friend thats gone all over the world played with many diffrent famouse people and could even be heard on many cds of bands and singers. they say "he sold his soul to see the world." he is paid a great amount and travled the world. they arnt bitter to what he has done, its just not what they want. they do want to be famouse, rich possibly, but they more want to stir the punk spirit around. they dont plan to be pushed around to be turned into a pop band or such as you said.

Devo always do good B Sides, in fact they are better than on the album on every occasion apart from Penetration In The Centrefold in my opinion. Social Fools is a great song.

EMO isn't the new form of Punk, it's the new form of Nu Metal. IE, a craze as opposed to a rebellion.

Yeah most of the comments here on the other pages have been about which is the better version. I have no preference myself as I think both bands are cool. Devo's original version was of it's time and is very much the Devo sound. Nirvana's version is a great tribute and rocks out the song good and proper, as you would expect from them.
