  • " I fought the best fighters in the world in my division and I slaughtered them "

Mike you were an AWESOME boxer the like of which we haven't seen since . Mad respect .

  • lol look at the amazement in his eyes at 7:24

  • 4:28

  • I would have beated Holmes at 16. Lol. Who knows maybe he would have. Love you Mike !!!

  • this was just before Tyson's skills started to slowly get worse, when he still had Kevin Rooney before the frank Bruno fight Tyson was just unstoppable at this point.

  • one of the best interviews of mike tyson he looks so at peace with him self

  • No way he could have beaten Holmes when he was 16.

  • 4:33 truest wisest shit ever said, still fighting is nerve-racking even when u know u can win, fear of the unknown.

  • Mike Tyson, articulate smart and honest .

  • what a sweet voice he has!

  • greavsy!!

  • the more i learn about tyson the sadder i get if only he never met king he would of had such a happier life and been a true true great.

  • Tyson first and biggest lost was against himself! true but sad..... when he at last lost that fight he could loose to the other third class fighters (execpt for Holyfield and Lewis)

  • The presenter is Jimmy Greaves 1966 World Football Champ with England

  • fucking don king...

  • anxiety is just a feeling, acknowledge and do something about it.

  • tyson is a fucking animal he is the best

  • Greatest fighter ever. I want to see him in more things. Movies, products, etc... just don't tarnish the image that we see here. Bring back what we see in this vid.

  • @bestbboymusicchannel I bet you wouldn't say that to his face, you're the real bitch for saying that shit about Tyson from behind your computer screen.

  • MAN.... Mike TYSON WAS THE MAN HERE.... This is the MIKE TYSON that the WORLD loved to see...

  • Priceless video footage my friend. Excellent and thanks for sharing this.

  • Tyson is younger than 18 in the pic at 4:24?? GOOD LORD. HE LOOKS LIKE A GROWN MAN!

  • i loved this interview

  • LMFAO @ 5:19 "i would have beating holmes at 16."hahahahha mike is the shit look at his face when he says that.

  • At this particular time, as Tyson stated himself, I don't think nobody could beat him in the HISTORY of the sport let alone then.

  • 3.55 min lol..kind man outside the ring hahahahhaa

  • "any planet of the world" makes no sense

  • @Skit9497 he obviously meant universe clever bollocks...

  • HE SHOULDVE FOUGHT HOLYFIELD AND LEWIS AT THIS TIME. HE WOULDVE BEEN IN THE HOSTORY BOOKS FOR SURE

  • i plan to put my opponenrs head in the audience lol

    u cant beat that talk

  • everyone keeps saying firing rooney was his downfall.... its not like he forgot all the techniques, he just got lazy and started trying to whack bums out with one shot... he simply lost the desire after making hundreds of millions of dollars at 20 years old....

  • @mmafan43 and thats why Rooney was important and needed to be there.

  • Why did jimmy say, do u still listen to Rooney now ur champ, don't u think u know it all, trying to up set camp for the Bruno fight maybe

  • 5:22 Beating Holmes at 16? Someone was part of the crack epidemic

  • most people watching this probs dnt no who the interviewer is lol mike probs didnt haha

  • Lol the way Mike says "so often" really tells that he's a New Yorker. Wish that he would ask for a "cup of coooffee".

  • @bestbboymusicchannel its funny because I thought that too, a great white.

  • @bestbboymusicchannel fuck you!

  • @bestbboymusicchannel you´re a BITCH

  • @bestbboymusicchannel could you walk in his shoes

  • @bestbboymusicchannel Yeah a bitch that would crush your skull with his bare hands. How about that?

  • @bestbboymusicchannel u dumb jew coward

  • HAHA! Jimmy Greaves sowing the seeds of Tyson's downfall:

    1:18

  • "You strike me as a very kind man outside of the ring..." Bahaha

  • The greatest boxer in the history of the sport.

  • @joshuasuperman1 without doubt in my mind, and i know too much.

  • jimmy nearly shit himself when mike was showing how he throws combos.

  • nice interview by the great jimmy greaves. better questions asked than the boring typical wind up rubbish asked by normal boxing journalists

  • Autumn Mcdean is a muppet

  • i know hes not moaning just that im a huge mike tyson fan and i would be wetting myself to get a interview with him they should have had a boxer interview him who knew who mike really was not an ex footballer.

  • whys jimmy moaning at the beginning of the segment he should be glad he has even been offered the chance to interview the legend that is mike tyson i want to see u brother what the hell is jimmy on.

  • I think he isn't really moaning....:)

  • Young, humble and likeable. Too bad he couldn't control his demons; you can see he still tries to be this person.

  • @RedneckkRudy - good comment rudy. But also, it was more than just mike controlling his demons. It was his whole freaking training staff helping him. From Cus to Kevin rooney. When they disappeared, so did the control of the demons.

  • young, fierce, explosive and devastating. the most exciting fighter in history

  • lol @ how tyson talks about having no disregard for money...no wonder he became broke..when i watch old tyson interviews he always predicts his future to a tee

  • What the fuck is jimmy greaves interviwing tyson? does a good job tho

  • when he talks about fear what a great answer,no robes no socks he realy was a warrior knew the art of war.

jus shows u his life you can be nobody and be sombody but same time his life is a lesson to us all no mater how much u make or fame u have there people out there work jus as hard to break you.

  • Nice Vid! this was the Tyson that Cus groomed, before don king messed him up and robin givens

  • Yeah. He had great trainers and managers like Cus and Kevin and it started to got downhill when he changed trainers. He won fights after prison but wasn´t as good as he used to be. Don and Robin was only after his money.

  • the real mike tyson such rare clip thanks for the vid

  • bothe legends jimmy greaves was a top player in his day and so was iron mike they had so much natural talent it was unbelievable what made me laugh was when mike was showing jimmy how he takes his opponent out i reckon jimmy fancied himself to go toe to toe with mike but then realised hold on a sec this is tyson lol

  • How old is mike on this video?

  • well the interviewer mentioned the tubbs fight but not the spinks fight so i guess it was between them fights which is march 1988 and june 27 1988 so he was 22.

  • @muhaha106 between the holmes fights and spinks fights u mean but yeah it mustve been

  • sorry tubbs fight ur right lol im hungover haha

  • I think he's about 21. This was Tyson when he was happy, with Cus, wish he'd of never died.

  • not at the time of the interview, with Cus, but in the pic they showed of him w Cus, just to clarify.

  • this is late 1988 i think. Cus wasnt around anymore sadly he died in 1985 when tyson was just 18 years old.

But here Tyson still trains with Kevin Rooney. shortly after this he fired Rooney, what defenetely was one of his biggest mistakes he could do in his life! Still: Tyson 4 ever

  • @baselkicker cus died 0 week before tyson becoms champ. thats in 22-11-1986. he was 20 years old

  • @bestlions this is crap buddy. you need to read some books 'bout it, or easier, search in the net...

  • @baselkicker i ment one week before his fight . you should search on the net, or easier, just watch the movie tyson 2009

  • @bestlions i watched the film, and youre wrong. >>"Constantine "Cus" D'Amato (January 17, 1908 – November 4, 1985)"

thats all YOU have to know digga

Source: Heller, Peter: Bad Intentions The Mike Tyson Story.

  • @baselkicker wtf thats exactly what he said, was that cus died in 1985.. good for u for reading the heller book, you should read the torres tyson book fear & fire ..very good tyson bio

  • @area51er6 he said 1986

  • Cus D'Amato died when Tyson was 19. He never lived to see Tyson become champion.

  • @rabmcnab1 what fight did cus die at, or what was the next fight mike had after the death??

  • @rabmcnab1 he did when mike tyson first walked into his gym, he knew !

  • @rabmcnab1 i think cus already knew tyson would take the title. he made him into an animal :)

  • @rabmcnab1 of course, im sry! i made a mistake in counting tyson years in the comment above.

  • @rabmcnab1 That's so sad but Cus D'amato KNEW Tyson would become heavy-weight champion . Awesome fighter. Awful that he went in to self-destruct mode . Doing well now though from what i can tell .

  • @Killer141288 Actually, muhaha106 got the dates right, but Mike was born June 30, 1966, so he was 21 and turned 22 three days after the Spinks fight, unless muhaha was just rounding up to age 22. Still, good observation. Since Tyson-Spinks was such a (supposed) mega-match and wasn't even mentioned, find out when that fight was confirmed (it was announced Feb 15, but I guess not finalized) and you can date this video between March 22, 1988 and whenever Tyson-Spinks was officially confirmed. :)

  • The man interviewing tyson is shit

  • @KiidDynamiteReturns - that is Jimmy Greaves from the UK. He was a good guy but more focused on football.

  • was he a footy guy was thinking who he was!?!

  • Tyson is my fucking hero. Fucking awesome.

  • best fighter ever
