Sounds like every song on The Devil You Know but with Gillan singing instead of Dio. As much as it pains me to say,Iommi has clearly run out of GOOD ideas. Hell,this riff sounds like something I would come up with and I don't even PLAY guitar. It's a half hearted parody of what Iommi was once capable of.

The production on this song is first class, as are the players. Iommi continues to write first rate songs. I have never been disappointed by any of Iommi's work. His last solo album was some of his best work yet. I hope this group of guys release a full album and tour.

Re: the riff; not every song has to be a headbanger, you know. A good guitarist can write complex, badass riffs...a great guitarist can do that as well as write simple great-sounding riffs...a legend can do both and knows when each is appropriate.

And Tony Iommi is probably the greatest metal guitarist of all time so I think he knew what he was doing when he put this guitar track down.
