Well, Vance /did/ send McGee to work with the techs when he originally split up the team. Plus, he does do quite a bit of tech work - he just happens to be a field agent, that's all.
Eric by far is one of the best looking people on NCIS LA, why do they have him looking so scruffy. Clean him up, give him a good shave, and loose the goofy glasses. He would blow Chris O'Donnell away!! Oh, maybe that's why they are downplaying his look. Chris doesn't want the competition.
you ever think its because his character is supposed to be nerdy as the "tech" guy of the show. Just as McGee is for the original. I guess that makes Callen the Tony of my anology but anyway its about what character they're playing in the end not acutal looks.
Yes FireAngel42 I understand the concept, but why take a guy with super model looks, down play his assets because he's into computers, and hi tech. This is a novel idea, take a guy with his looks, play it for all it's worth, and make him a computer geek to boot. It would be like another Daniel Jackson on Stargate SG-1

this is one of new favorite shows. I never watched NCIS before, and now because of NCIS LA I watch both shows.
