Bisous.

  • bien joué bravo !!!

  • THE ELECTRIC GUITAR.....greatest invention of the last century.

  • these guys must have been like Muse of their time

  • epic ...

  • un doigté formidable

  • In those days, with the advent of space age, they were too conscious about their

group name with specific costume or The telstar to realize their sound and technique are pretty awsome evn in these days. I think country gentleman great CHet atkins and Les paul would have applaud them. Thanks for uploading.

  • I prefer that one of the Dillards...

  • Great Sound.

  • amapola

  • Lovely performance!

  • Do you hear horses approaching? Seriously...this is cool.

  • Great TALENT from SWEDEN.

  • dude, what a bunch of pretty guys.

one thing is for sure, they didn´t sleep their way up.

    fantastic song though.

  • UFO OR DIE!!!!

  • fantastic

  • They are so unfortunate looking. But so so awesome. Why don't we have music like this anymore?

  • Fantastic one of my all tim greats Geoff

  • Its very beautiful but if you look to the costums you think that they go for a vacation to the moon haha very funny the costums in thoose times

  • What guitar is the rhythm player using? Those blade pickups look pretty awesome.

  • BEGGININGS OF PROGRESSIVE

  • it could be from '58 or '59. i bought it once from my small money when i was 11 or 12!! i liked it so much. Unfortunately the LP is gone with this awesome band... and there was no flop at all. For me >Amapola< was the best.

  • I love this guitar sound, is it from the 1960's? Just been listening to

downloads from the Shadows, this music is brilliant! why can't they start

playing music like this again, then we won't have to to listen to all this rap &

techno-dance drivel which is sooo boring!!!

  • @Cee6th

This sound was really popular from the late-1950s to the mid-1960s. Look up "surf rock" if you want more.

  • Bo Winberg is the solist guitar player of the group, but I'm not sure =/

  • can someone please list the members of this group? i heard tommy tedesco was a member of this group or the sputnicks.

    thanks

  • Detta är riktigt bra musik! :)

  • Can't believe I've never heard of these guy's before,now I'm hooked ,brilliant !!!

  • onlinelondon: They are still around AND playing !! There are 2 original members in tha band,Bo Winberg (lead guitar) and Bob Lander (rhytm guitar). I love them !!

  • Awesome track, real musicians don't need cables!

  • FANTASTIC SPACEY SOUND...meek style from famous swedish band

  • Never thought I'd hear this again. Fabulous!

  • What guitar work! The Shadows were well named.

  • Wow, this is an old video or film

  • bufff

  • Spotnicks will never die. Still playing Bosse?

  • spotnicks sind die Besten !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • polniy ulet

  • They really have all the quality's in one group:that beautiful music makes may day

    Ivan -1060 Brussels-

  • faarout

  • Fantastique.

  • GREAT BAND

  • Devo meets bluegrass.

  • This is vintage, eccentric, groovy, it seems like an old episode of Lost in Space.

  • THE TOP OF MASTERSHIP.

    IVAN

  • i think i got my facts mixed up joe meek did not manage this band they are in fact from sweden great 60,s music thanks for posting

  • Joe Meek managed or helped the band in his studio. But he didn't do so steadily. And they were from England. The Spotnicks were in fact from Sweden. I don't know about the present line up.

They are both great bands anyhow!!!

  • good music don't need lyrics !

  • Bosse, we loved you.

    Please come back.

  • That was music. Thanks for sharing this video.

    Eric - Studio ChinChan

  • supernice music and video

  • absolutely fantastic classic!!!!!! The Spotnicks' music will live forever!!!! Greetings from germany!!

  • the best instrumental group of the 60s

  • simply amazing!!!!!!!

  • Sometimes my fellow humans impress me, hehe. This is one of those times. Great group, these guys.

  • People back then had big ears.

  • True. Nowadays kids need tabs to figure out an AC/DC song.

  • Rock? Or glockenspiel polka? Yikes! would make a good score for Catwomen on the Moon.

  • the good old sixties ... yeah !!!

  • Bosse Winberg on guitar Good nice

  • ein jahrhundertsound!!!!!!!!!!!!5*********

  • That dude has the longest, skinniest spider fingers I've ever seen. Look at that pinky! It's like a tentacle!

  • and the bass player only doesn't have the weirdest bass I've ever seen, but also the BIGGEST ears I've ever seen! I mean, look at him at 0:16 !

  • What the fuck has it in common with their music?

  • Nothing, I just noticed that he has the weirdest bass ever and the biggest ears I've ever seen :P

    Anyway, a great band!

  • not the F word you use mate

  • I got an F word for ya...FANTASTIC!!!

These guys hardly move ,but ply blaizin' tunes.

    thought I'de throw a bit in...g'day.

  • Interesting observations... very interesting indeed :)

  • I think his bass was a home-made one by Bo (the lead guitarist). That's why it has sort of a special look to it!

  • can you see Hank Marvin from the Shads doing that?

  • I love Hank, but to be honest, I doubt he can keep up with Bo Winberg on this one...

  • holy crap man why didnt anybody tell me about these guys before?

  • Can you get them In Ikea?

  • LIKE IT!!They play at about 100 miles per hour!!!

  • What a rush to listen to this guitar band from Sweden!!!Thank you for putting this on the net!

  • THANK YOU SWEDEN

    IVAN.

  • Winberg is a guitar-génius.

  • Great band, but not easy on the eye!

  • amazing!

  • absolutely fantastic.some of the best guitar playing ever.love it,a big thank you to tou and you tube for this wonderful treat.

  • Love those costumes-on all the vids, these guys really had the spirit, were fun and really good, some great guitar work there. Man, bands of the day like these guys, the Ventures, the Tornados were really tight units!

  • BIG +1 I do agree, both the Ventures and Tornadoes were TIGHT instrumental bands. You know the music is good when you dont need any lyrics!

  • unos tipazos, aguante los Hillbillys del espacio

  • Génial! Awesome!

  • It's great to see Bo Winberg play this live in a studio, I always thought that he played with fingerpicks due to the speed with which he played but no it is just a plectrum, a really exceptional piece of skill. They were the first group to use radio transmitters in their instruments ,hence no guitar leads so they could walk amongst the audience; in spacesuits no less. Does anyone remember a British guitarist called Judd Proctor from the 50's and 60's?
