guys who knows how to connect a mic and earphones to this card? i use windows 7 with a new software for this soundcard its allll okeyyyyy. very, very now i need to connect my studio microphonbe thats all.
You know, this thing came out in January 2000. That's 10 years!. And yet it's still got better specs (109 db SNR and Dynamic Range) than a lot of the newer interfaces out now. I just dumped my audio card and bought one of these dinosaurs used on Ebay for about $250. Can't really do any better for a 10-in/10-out card for the price! I'm running my DAW on Win 7 / 32 bit and the drivers seem OK. I get a loud "screech" when I boot up and power down--but other than that, no probs.
yeah i bought an m-audiio interface and its great but the drivers on vista give me nothing but noise issues.and i know it isnt the interface as i tried others, and diff noise problems arise.anyways my point is m-audio is great but the newer windows not so great

Nope, still get crackles and pops. Will keep you posted, it's the least I can do after three years of frustration and late nights.

Excellent, had one since 2006. Now all I need is a £$%&*"£ driver that's reliable.
