think aerodynamics. that design doesn't have good aerodynamics.

good design is holistic design. the confluence of aerodynamics and elegance. not arbitrary haute couture crap.

a cheetah isn't elegant because some homosexual designed it in a drama fit. it's elegant because it works.

a large mouth opening is aerodynamically bad for instance.

wheels should be smooth on the side and as narrow as possible and should have aerodynamic covers. a car at motorway speed wastes 80% of the energy on air flow

we can also do such kind of machine by our company VOWIN in china . we use CNC,SLA and some others to make plastic and metal prototypes

Hey, I want to be a Car Designer, so I belive that car design it's an Art, as an Art it is not objective and it may don't like to everyone. The most important Art pieces for some people are a piece of crap. And I believe that if you like it or not you should RESPECT the Artist talent and just talk about his job not about him.

ok i take back what i said, maybe you can draw. your comment just sounded immature. but still, what YOU think looks bad may not look bad to other ppl. just think of car's like the bugatti veyron. i think it looks like a melted VW beetle/audi , but alot of ppl think its beautiful. someone probably said the design sucked when it was still a design, but now its 1 million bucks a pop.

Dont get me wrong I am thankful for car design it does teach one about form and proportion and dynamism to a high standard, perhaps the highest.

But very often it looses its intellect and looks inward. That realy upsets me. This sketch upsets me.

Actauly its pretty easy to say ' stop being a hater' assuming i'm some kid who cannot draw. Im sorry to dissapoint you but I can indeed draw, and better than that guy.

Also looking back, my first comment was pretty funny and a breath of fresh air in this little world of 'worshiping' professional car designers. Its just a job , thats all guys, If there is anyone here that works , please feel free to comment, even if you dissagree.

I agree with you that the design is rather poor. There are no appealing ratio's in the model and it's very un-VW'ish. But where I can mention the points that I don't like, you simply say you hate the car and think they have to f*ck off, without explaining WHY. Please do so that we can agree with your means.

Ok. Its the selfishness of a lot of cardesigners that i dont like. I worked in theg car industry for two years after graduating. I worked on two production cars it was quite enjoyable. However I set up my own design company to get more freedom. What I have learnt from my new perspective is car designers frequently design cars for other car designers. And very rarely design in tandem wih marketing and branding, the overall company strategy and of couse customers.

Also I I find the drawing style anoying. These guys seem to design car renderings to show thier mates as they think its important. Instead of drawing the design of the actual car. Ok of course u can say,concet sketches always get toned down its natural so you have to start of exciting, but what happens these days is they/he concentrates on graphics on a flatteringform/proportion and then wonders why it looks like crap when it gets productionised. They were kidding themselves all along..

car designs rarely end up being produced and even then look NOTHING like the concept. i dont think this looks too bad, its creative. much better than what you could do it seems...you probably cant draw for shit.

It's a rapid prototype of some sort. SLA (stereolithography), FDM (fusion deposition modeling) or similar.
