@AWesome61696 Actually increasing taxes on the rich would resolve about $1 billion of our deficit, and considering how taxation slows economic growth and our deficit is hovering around $15 trillion putting a tax increase would provide nothing positive. By eliminating heavy taxes and not constantly printing money incentive is made for consumers to buy good and the dollar gains value. The problem is that we live in a corporatist economy, not capitalist.

It's a huge start, better then any plan the Republicans have proposed. And getting rid of the deficit is SOMETHING positive. The 90s economic boom- the biggest short-term in American history- happened with those tax rates, in a post-reccession climate. Only inflation has that big an impact on the dollars value, so we should reduce that, as well.

I would have to disagree with Ron Paul.
The whole, government out of the Economy is one of the biggest mistakes made during the 1930's. When Herbert Hoover chose the "rugged individualism" philosiphy, believing hard work is what would get out of the Depression, it just got worst.
While I would agree on this when the economy becomes stable (which is why I believe Republicans were successful), Democrats just win at the ecnomoy when it's like this.

She wants to give both groups special help.

Here is a fact that none of you take into consideration. Ron Paul is just like all other candidates, they will say and do anything to get into office. Politicians are all corrupt, and only want one thing, more for themselves and less for everybody else. Ha, its funny how people will run to someone when they're told what they want to hear. The sad thing is that most Americans don't know anything about economics either, and therefore will take McCain and Romney's looks as an extra reason to think Ron Paul doesn't know what he is talking about.

Damn McCain and Romney must know absolutely NOTHING about Economics. I'm in college and am in Economy 231. It is the first economy class I have taken, and I'm only a MONTH into it. However, my teacher has already explained how the economy gets messed up with the government gets in the way. And how the natural flow of the economic system will take care of itself. So Ron Paul 2008!!! And McCain and Romney, you are pathetic for knowing absolutely nothing about Economics...

The press can't support Ron Paul because Ron Paul is an exact 180 from what they were reporting back when 911/Iraq war started. If they supported him it would mean all their reports for the last 6 years have been based on lies! No media machine is going to admit that.. so you can believe the main stream media's account of what happened or you can research it for yourself and find out Ron Paul is right on the money!

Actually it may very well be another Civil War that's needed to do that.
The people who are being voted in office because they're "against abortion"; are the very same people committed to bringing down our currency to promote NAFTA and the Amero. And they know that.
That's not in the best interest of our country and if you're not with us, you're against us!
