@mrresistancenow Try checking your sound settings. I don't know what OS you use, but in OS X 10.7.2 I had the same problem and it turned out that I didn't have any output settings.

@mrresistancenow There may be something wrong with your sound card options in Reason. Go into Edit > Preferences > Audio Options things> and the select different sound card options and see which one works

@TheRealEzzy Where you from? USA? Its really big in the UK now, everybody listens to it. More recently Iv'e become a slave to it. I used to hate it when I was playing guitar, but since I've discovered Reason and VDJ, I wana get good at drum and bass. So the step down is dubstep. But honestly there is some filthy dubstep out there, hidden away under all the shite. but it's all down to personal preference. I prefer making punk music, but I am enjoying electro music at the moment.

@GSInvestigator in reason 5 (i dont know if it was there before) you can right click on the sample name in redrum. If you choose edit a basic editor pops up. Select all of the sample and edit it as you wish. Change the name, click safe and there you go.

if you want reason, you can torrent it. thats what I did lol.

just google "reason 4 torrent" and use uTorrent or something similar. I know for my particular torrent I had to use MagicDisk (you can also use DaemonTools) to mount the .UIF file onto the virtual F drive, but now it works fine!

Hey, nice videos, but I have a problem with my reason. When I use the Delay the first note doesn't sound, is like the Delay is just outputting the Delay signal, taking away the first sound that actually generated the delay. So if I play a Crash with delay for example, for some reason the Crash doesn't sound at first, but then the delay plays. Do you know why is this happening? Is so annoying :(

@darkxface on the toggle switch within the sample lane in redrum, theres a selection between what looks like a saw and a square wave, yes? if you select the square wave, then that is what keeps the sample playing for as long as the drawn in note lasts within the track! : )

Thor was an addition to Reason 4, I don't think you can use it with older version of reason. Paying for the upgrade is well worth it.
