Well have a look at what was written on the parcel at 8:22; exactly how many Fidels living in Cuba would two random Americans know about? In retrospect, I'm not even certain that this movie is set in the 1930's anymore. I mean, the clothing style is very 1930's-ish (fedoras, golf hats, etc.). As for the cars, I've seen many that appear to be from the 1930's, 50's, and even 80's. So the entire setting of the movie remains largely vague in regards to the time period from the looks of it.
