  • @xsach1 who said he votes for funding of military budgets when he's voted against such appropriation bills? Weapons manufacturers go nowhere bud, they do what they've always done, sell guns to the people/consumer. The weapons manufacturers that profiteer from the wars will be done with considering there would be no more business from us to them so their assets would subsequently be liquidated.

  • ok Ill try and break it down for some of you SLOW Americans. He wants to STOP the WARS you got that?? hmmm That money you spend on the wars - trillions of dollars... right you got that hmmm and he wants to spend it ON YOU instead !!!! You got that now... and if you don't understand that you are FUCKING RETARDED!! VOTE for this man please!!!

  • @xsach1 That would be the ONLY reason? "He wants to stop the wars?" THEBN when the wars are over? Fuck the people they are on their own? "Everyman for himself," INDIVIDIDUAL rights?

yeah a GROUP of people (the US--nation--a group) will GO FAR with a philosophy that say "I got mine so..."

  • @xsach1 But HYE, "tjhe wars would be over." Yeah RIGHT, PAUL votes for funding of military budgets but he wants to stop the wars? And WHAT HAPPENES to ALL the weapons manufacturers in this country? Give us a break you must have wars in order to sell and test your products, right? Andfind an outlet for frustration.

Sad but true, check your history.

Besides, I beleive there is one war left, and that should be over in 2014.

  • They replaced Lawrence O'Donnell with another media whore. Editing and speaking over the interviewee or misquoting his original quote context makes you an idiot, which only idiots will trust.

  • @dcshipman "The freedom philosophy BRINGS people together?"

What does THAT mean? Nothing but gibberish. "Violates the property rights, the "civil rights act of 1964?"

  • @louisrr01 I don't understand your reply's point, but the Constitution listed the Feds power and states those not listed are powers of the state. The Civil Rights act of 64, was about discrimination on race, religion, creed, gender at work, socially funded places and facilities that serve the general public. Many confuse that with private organizations limited in membership. My point in my comment was about media propaganda twisting the story. Obama was never treated like this.

  • @dcshipman I don't know what you mean by "Obama was never treated like this." I do know that it would be impossible to argue with you because your mind is made up and most likely, you are unwilling to analyze the conversatin in-depth.

Paul is a good talker, he SOUNDS like he KNOWs what he is talking about. He is NOT an economist he was an OB-GYN doctor. Then he became a congressman. PERIOD.

  • @dcshipman RON PAUL is a ranter.

I AGREE with his position about ending wars overseas, but I think you MIGHT want to read MORE about libertarian doctrine. He is NOT a libertarian. He got that leadership position because he SOUND like he is TEACHING you something you don't know (most likely). LISTEN TO HIS WORDS. He is saying nothing and making snide remarks to O'Donnell. But Lawrence is not putting up with that BS and calling him out on it.

  • @dcshipman This has nothing to do with Obama, so I don't see the relationship. Lawrence is merely attacking his talking points and Paul is spouting BS, making snide comments (listen) and "you don't understand that, but that is ok, others do."

you see, Lawrence put Paul's ass to the fire, and was hoping he could spout some BS and Lawrence would let him.

He bitch-slapped Paul and YOU can plainly see that. Paul is fluff and gets UPSET if people don't fall for that BS.

  • @dcshipman He was calling Paul out on the comments he made regarding "the TRUE progressive understand what I am saying?" "The civil rights act did not enhance freedom?" "Taking over private property?" "Did not enhance freedom?"

"Freedom philosphy brings people together?" What does THAT mean? Can YOU translate? Treating everyone as an individual? "Economic and personal liberty are all in the same?" Demogogue this?

"It took activist liberal Washington government..."

  • @dcshipman "You don't have rights becasue you belong to a group?" since when?

How about christians, are they a group? do they have rights as a group?

Yelling "check with your staff about YOUR agreements?" What he was not expecting a debate? Just shut up and LISTEN.

  • I dropped cable, so I am not familiar with Mr. O'Donnell, but from this interview my take is that he is a complete tool. I don't have any patience for these types that cut off the person they are interviewing in order to frame the story to their own liking. I was quite surprised that Ron Paul was not cut off at the end there when he was explaining his position. A little too much factual data being spilled.

  • The point that O'Donnell doesn't connect with is that Ron is telling him we should have repealed the laws that began segregation rather than create a new law that revises the old law. Larry is a stupid bufoon.

  • I wasn't able to make it more than a third of the way through the Lawrence O'Donnell "interview". I have a low tolerance for interviewers who insist on doing more talking than their guests, ask blatantly misleading questions that are character assaults masquerading as journalism, and as soon as the guest attempts to correct the deliberate lies they're cut off and shouted down with more malicious propaganda.

    RON PAUL 2012!

  • Im a man of color(black) and I agree and understand. What he is saying is that the government used the racial tension issue as an excuse to control what you do on your own property.Which later translate into some 1984-ish type of world. He is saying yes alot of it was good but there was another way of doing it.Ron Paul sucks at explaining himself thoroughly . Im voting for him anyway. On many levels he is correct race is in everything you cant escape it now we cant forget it.

  • I'm glad the interviewer gave it to him. Paul says some true and important things but people can't turn a blind eye to his bullshit! Let's face it he does have some bigoted views, and I don't agree with his "let the states decide it all" approach.

  • @Noromongrel He does not want the "states to decide it all". He wants the states to be able to have the powers delegated to them in the Constitution. Ever since the Constitution was written the federal government has taken powers from the state. They have seriously abused the "necessary and proper" clause.

  • lets think about this critically. its 2012, say the civil rights act was struck down. does anyone honestly think a business owner would a) lose the profits b) endure the bad p.r. shitstorm that would ensue from openly discriminating in this day and age? business trips over itself to respond to and fix every hint of discrimination. you'd always have the same few fruitcakes but as a whole nothing would change.

  • i'll debate anybody on race relations and ron paul's stance on it...and i'm latino! o'donnell is dead wrong on this issue.

  • Lawrence O'Donnell has Corporate Dick in HIS MOUTH !

    FUCKIN FAGGOT ! !

  • @Saebeck32 Since when do you speak for all blacks? v=jCob0zKxumc and v=XEEKze32NqM

  • Lawrence O'Donnell is brilliant and tells it like it is..no matter what you think of his politics he is brilliant

  • If Ron Paul doesn't admit the civil rights act helped, he will lose a lot of support. I love Ron Paul and I'm a supporter but Damn it Paul stop being so god damn stubborn. Property Right's are not as important as civil rights. Even with all that said, he still is the best candidate. He just drives me fucking Crazy when he defends property right over Civil right. He is obviously not racist but just concede that the law did more good then bad.

  • @myfabien I think Paul was trying to say it would have been better to repeal the laws that created segregation in the first place rather than creating a new law. Property rights do give you the right to discrimate which Paul frowns upon as it's based only on appearance. He also agrees that shop owners should be able to decide on their own what's not allowed on their property - smoking, packing guns, loitering or whatever the case may be. Green is the only color that matters today.

  • lawrence odennoell is a fucking moron

  • Lawrence chose to attend Harvard when not even 1% of the students were minorities. He lived in and still lives in yuppie white neighborhoods. It's as if The Civil Rights Act didn't even impact the places he chooses to be in.

  • In my state we still have black neighborhoods and churches. Areas with a latino majority. Nightclubs with a majority who are black. Did the Civil Rights Act desegregate their natural choices?

  • REMEMBER THIS....MSNBC would NOT even be on the air any longer if it wasn't for Obama sending them "stimulus" money (went to the corporation). This entire network is bought and paid for by the White House...can you tell??

  • Notice how Paul tries to change the subject, as he knows he is getting OWNED on civil rights.

  • @marticus61lau Do you people ever wonder why no black folks share Mr. Paul's position?? People endured BEATINGS at sit-ins in the 1960's to desegregate lunch counters!! Who is the current civil rights law hurting??

  • @Saebeck32 ummm....what!? ACtually blacks appeal to Dr. Paul more than Obama!!! YOU NEED TO GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!

  • @orangeman6870 HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! You need to lay off the Fox News! What fantasy world do you live in where more than 4% of African Americans would EVER vote for a member of the racist republicans party??

  • @Saebeck32 try about 2%

  • douchebags come and go, but dr. ron paul is bullet proof!

  • Ron Paul 2012

  • @123 have you ever paid for anything ? Probable not ... Your boy L.O. Is a moron ,

And you are too .., wake the fuck up , the

    Country's broke .., have you lost 150,000

    In equity , I doubt it ...

  • @ 123 it's not a fucking right when the home

Owners are paying ... How's the educational

system working ???? Not so fucking good

Rank 17 in the world , yeah that's working .

  • 4:07 "I think that's really desperate..."

    AGREED!

    RON PAUL 2012

"END THE FED" by Ron Paul

Everything you need to know about America's own private central bank

    I have 30 pgs left :D

  • Ron Paul really didn't explain his racist comment on the Civil Rights Act....

  • I love it! At least it wasn't the same BS that is spouted over & over without going into different areas that the candidates may wish not to talk about. I would love to put each & every one of them on the spot. At least Lawrence O'Donnell has the backbone to do it. Kudos for him.

  • @cassieburke123 Too bad he didn't get into how he intends to sustain the Average American Citizen. Healthcare and Education are not a right! WTF? It seems to me that when most people hear Liberty they turn their brains off. Must be more diligent and question more.

  • Ron Paul just got owned.

  • Hiram Boy.....you call him “smug” because he is correct, and your racist prick lover boy Paul is revealed for the feudal lord that he is.

You, HIram, are a low brow, bigot, scumbag.

  • I don't trust white people enough to not have federal laws that mandate private businesses to treat everyone the same. ...simple

  • Ron Paul: Good Luck to a loser like you...... lol

Sounds like a bait and switch just happen to Mr. Paul, agreed to talk about one thing before air time. And switch to a hit peace. This is why Lawrence O'donnell has the worst ratings on TV.

    Ron Paul 2012

  • Lawrence O'donnell has the wrost ratings of all TV. Less then 700 thousand people watch his show out of 300 mil. And this is why.

  • He makes sense to uneducated teenagers...HE IS IGNORANT

  • The State created Jim Crow laws, not property rights! To give it credit for solving a problem it created is absurd. Property Rights enforcement would have never allowed Jim Crow laws and would have fostered integration faster than gov't interference.

  • lawrence who?

  • O'Donnell... my god. He's worse than O'Reilly. What is it with the 'O last names' and bias and unfair debating?

  • MLK was a republican

  • @Mrnepalesedogg MLK was not a republican...please stop spreading that lie...

  • @freein2339 please go read a book or something then come tell me that again

  • @Mrnepalesedogg I read this book...

Martin Luther King, Jr. wrote in his autobiography:

"The Republican Party geared its appeal and program to racism, reaction, and extremism."

That was his description of the 1964 Republican National Convention. He also referred to the Republican convention as "the frenzied wedding at the Cow Palace of the KKK with the radical right."

  • In basic words I believe he just spoke of government role with regard to civil rights. I am sure that , by now the states, on there own. would have put it strait or right in their own way and time. If the state was not liked for its own civil rights position, the ones that did not like it would move to a different STATE. I would like to think this great US of A would unite with peer presssure on those states with stupid laws.

  • @tomas6262 I would like to reply at your level....I'm rubber your glue whatever you say bounces off of me and sticks to you : P

  • @Frankendracula1066 Oh really. The latest NBC/MARIST poll shows him tied with Obama in a general election. Romney is down 7 points and Gingrich is down 10 to Obama. Ron has the best shot. Period. You cant attack the man because he is consistent and principled so you try to ignore him. Just like the media. Pretty pathetic and cowardly.

  • @benjak21 its useless to argue with people who have a programmed reluctance to ponder any outside of their own comfort zone. save ur energy lol

  • He keeps asking questions without giving him time to answer. What a douche move.

  • @Frankendracula1066 If you cannot see truth when it is right in front of your face then you are clearly too far gone to even attempt to enlighten.

  • A libertarian would have never enabled the jim crow laws.

  • Hannity's evil twin.

  • "good luck" getting another interview. lol ;p

  • You don't have rights because you belong to a group. It's individual liberty that is a right and sacred. Core of the philosophy. O'Donnell thinks the one 1964 law which didn't do total harm was the best solution to the problem.

  • @LAWRENCE IS such a tool! I can see the horns popping out of his head when he talks about just about anything.. Ron Paul is so much more intelligent than Larry the self proclaimed socialist who i suspect is really a satanist.. hehehe

  • Ron Paul is a clown.

  • How is it the camera man new at 2:49 Larry was done interupting?

  • Liberals make bad laws in order to come to the rescue of We The People with more bad laws!

  • What a rude prick!!! People watch this crap?

  • Lawrence O'Donnell is a DICK!

  • i'm so glad that smug liberal prick is off the 8 pm slot.

  • @hiramspiral82 heyyyy noowww, it's the grouping people that's wrong... We have to judge by the individual's actions and character.

This one, is just another on the payroll brah

  • @blackbull420

I do think you have a point. Trust me, though, when I say that my labeling O'Donnell as a 'liberal' has more to do with his blind fealty to a political mindset than it does with the liberal movement itself (a movement which, like conservatism, has plenty of positives). He is, however, totally lumped in with the rest of the smugs and the rest of the pricks :)

  • @hiramspiral82 the only prick is the one in your mother's mouth

  • @louisrr01

i went and dug her up just to double check--all i saw was a meal worm moving about. must be your prick.

  • This kind of disgusting interviewing doesn't help anyone understand anything, its only there to smear people. O'Donnell is part of the problem.

  • I'd never heard of O'Donnell... Don't care to hear him again.....

  • honesty counts ,ron paul is a real good politician not a puppet like that other !

  • @Avarummage amen to that!!!

  • MSNBC is the left version of FOX just like dems and repubs are the same

  • MSNBC is FOX juist like dems and repubs are the same as well

  • LOD is a lefty jerk. Schultz is as well. Both of them are ignorant to reality.

  • @Biggerbyte Schultz is worse. That guy would turn into a Small Govt, Big Govt. Neocon if the Democratic Party Co-Opted that philosophy, and would proudly carry their water bucket.

This O'Donnel guy is copying off of Hannity, O'reilly on how to create good theater, but his Leftist beliefs are sincere at least.

  • msnbc Lawrence O'Donnell can't shut up long enough for Ron Paul to answer this question! He just kept repeating his rhetorical statement over and over again., or talk over him, in an attempt to discredit him, but what he did do is make himself look like just another puppet for the puppet masters!

  • O'Donnell is an admitted communist and communism is responsible for the death of 100+ million people so that should tell you what he really is for.

Ron Paul is simply saying the Government doesn't need to be in every aspect of our lives, that we the people will regulate things ourselves with our morals and our wallets. O'Donnell really can't be this stupid, oh wait he's a communist so I guess he can.

  • he shook ron paul up. thats the first time i have seen him shook up like that.

  • MSNBC is far more biased than Fox. O'donnell is a pile of shit. The left wing nut jobs love to slander others

  • O'dummy, IF YOU would ask the question and NOT interrupt you might learn something, YOU are taking this out of one small part, what you can't understand is that he IS RIGHT. Stupid bitch. I do not understand IDIOTS like O'donnell. Stupid bastard! How in the world does this guy keep his job, OH, YEAH, he's an liberal asshole that takes his orders from some pices of shit that wants NWO to suck-seed!

  • O'Donnell is the worst reporter I have ever seen. He is rude, ignorant, and comes off as a complete nut job. How do people like this get public speaking jobs.

  • I like both of these guys - sometimes - in this discourse, though, O'Donnell misinterprets everything Paul says. He attempts to put words in his (Paul's) mouth. O'Donnell keeps the harangue going and I would like to really - Really, know what Ron Paul means. A lot of his ideas are good and some make me "scratch my head". Perhaps I could have learned more if O'Donnell had been not trying to "best" him.

  • Comment removed

  • FUCK YOU LAWRENCE!! You are nothing but a stupid media puppet...Talk about the Liberal O'Reilly, why don't you let the man speak? I guess it's because you want to put words into his mouth and distort his answers? Nice try, you abject failure...I love it ho when Paul finally gets to speak, he OWNS.

  • Damn, I use to think Fox news anchors were belligerent and single-minded, msnbc is even worse.

  • Paul could have been less defensive in his approach, but he is correct in his argument. His quote that Lawrence cited is not a good one, and Paul should have been clearer that the Civil Rights Act did provide for greater equality, BUT, it was too overreaching in that it trampled on property rights. Repealing the Jim Crow laws did not have to trample on property rights.

  • He is not interrupting Paul to get him "worked up". He tries to force him to stay on the point every time Paul tries to weasel out of it. Insisting someone answer the actual questioned posed to them is not "bias", it is journalism - something sorely lacking these days.

I want to legalize drugs and end the wars too. But with those two exceptions Paul is more wrong than anyone. You either like Ron Paul or really know about Ron Paul. They are mutually exclusive.

  • @normy11yt Normally I'd agree, journalists should do their job, and nail politicians with tough questions. But, Lawrence is obviously just trying to be bias here. Even after Ron Paul would clearly explain his position, Lawrence would take things out of context or put words in Ron's mouth. It's really just the Liberal equivalent to a Fox News interview. They aren't trying to have a debate, they're pushing a agenda by quote-mining and asking 'leading questions'.

  • Can you add pictures to words in Urban Dictionary? I'm thinking tool...

  • Paul is right the civil rights bill was only good for the 2 main races now the rest of that bill was bullshit thats all Paul was trying to say... Ron Paul 2012

  • He (Ron Paul) makes a statement that, if any other politician said it, would be their kiss of death. Paulites rally their wagons and bow to their protector. Weird and kind of sad.

  • i swear this man makes more sense than anyone that has ever ran for president and america is to dumb to recognize it.

  • @psycho26shon They yell at him and try to speak over him because he is a little old man, and try to put untrue words in his mouth... Sounds like segregation to me...

Activist Liberal Government didn't end segregation, Activist Liberal Citizens did... Government just saw it as a way to take over private property and let the racist bartenders cry over making MORE money because they have paying black customers too now... Just let him go out of business if he wont serve you...

  • @psycho26shon thats "too" dumb

  • Comment removed

  • @festerization - cont'd - the fault also lays in part with the founding fathers themselves; they shouldn't have pushed for ratifying the constitution without having cleared up the issue of slavery. But, they were afraid that if they didn't compromise, a union wouldn't form. Ron Paul has spoken to this issue as well; they should have taken care of the slave issue then. Further interventionism by the gov't only exacerbated the problem. Read the book The Real Lincoln, by Thomas Di Lorenzo.

  • @festerization. No, I'm not nuts. The south lost a war that didn't need to be fought. The feds could have just bought the slaves and set them free. Instead, they embarked on an undeclared war that killed over 600,000 people, destroyed 25% of the economy, and then engaged in "reconstruction" that disenfranchised whites for the sake of Republican political hegemony among blacks. By doing this and other things, the govt guaranteed that there would be permanent hatred between blacks and whites.

  • No, you are WRONG. He doesn't let people spin their bullshit. He said that The Civil Rights act of 1964 didn't enhance freedom. When Ron Paul tried to spin his shit, he called him on it. End of story.

  • Ron Paul is living in a fantasy world if he thinks states like Mississippi would have repealed their state & local Jim Crow laws without federal intervention. The Civil War ended in 1865; the Civil Rights Act was passed in 1964. If the free market was going to end Jim Crow, it had 99 years to do it and failed.

  • Lawrence is a piece of shit... doesn't even let people fucking get a chance to say their piece. Fucking hate his show

  • I want to jump this this computer screen and fucking kick the shit out of lawrence.

    RP'12!

  • I agree with many of you that LO interupted Mr. Paul too much but it doesn't change the fact that without civil rights laws Jim Crow would still exist. I like Mr. Paul (though i disagree with some of his views), to not see that sometimes gov't must help effect change is naive. E.g., child labor laws, women's voting rights et. al.

  • Why did Jim Crow laws exist? Because the government KNEW that eventually, people on their own would begin to mingle and government wanted to prohibit this. The Free-Market itself would have taken care of segregation. Repeal Jim Crow and the market takes care of the rest by running segregationists out of business; the desire to make money AUTOMATICALLY integrates. There was no need to dictate to private property owners and open the door to future government intrusions. THAT'S Paul's complaint.

  • @ysoitney you are nuts. Jim Crow existed because the South lost the war, and needed to subjugate the former slaves. Black Americans were being fire-hosed off the sidewalks of southern streets during my lifetime. Don't talk about property rights when you are killing people, preventing them from voting, and not letting them use the same drinking fountains or pools. Call it what it is. Hate.

  • The Perdue chicken man says, "segregation was from the govt."

Well, I guess it was the STATE government of Alabama that took part in that segregaion, eh, Ron? Besides, wasn't it the federal government that ordered the national guard to escort those Black students into that Alabama school?

  • That guy is pure fascist ! Big support to Ron Paul !

  • This moron speaks like he's handeling the truth

  • This is the only thing O'Donnell, Matthews and Maddow can comfortably debate libertarians on because they know they would totally fail at challenging Ron Paul on everything else they brag about including ending wars, allowing poor and the middle class to succeed and civil liberties.

  • I would have to agree with Dr Paul that treating others as you would want to be treated is the law. Not treating a group. Ambush journalism and the usual twisting of the truth by jackass O'Donnell.

  • Ron Paul is once again the smartest guy in the room!

  • what a jackass

  • This guy is an ASS. He is everything that's wrong with Journalism.

  • I won't be tuning in to Military Stooge NBC anymore, even on Youtube.

This interview by Larry O'donnell was a disgrace.

  • Paul wins again. You can't discredit truth.

O'Donnell is merely an ignorant tool of the empire. About as bright as a 10 watt bulb.

  • Actually, Republicans are the ones who passed the Civil Rights Act. They voted for it at a much higher ratio than the Democrats, Mr. Lawrence.

  • @cbl2988 ...but LBJ signed it into Legislation. And of course, it was done for the black vote (Martin Luther King photo ops included)

  • Lawrence O'Donnell is a straw-man machine!

  • Larry is a faggot type of man.

  • Managed Care Sucks

  • i hate ron pauls view on speration of church and state... But i dont believe he is a racist.

  • I would abolish Medicare.

  • the ending good luck, good luck = fuck off

  • holy fuck this guy get annoying! let the man finish his sentence and you might learn O'dickhead. he's there to speak to the people not to you fucko! it's sad paul has to use this bullshit platforms to be heard.

  • Ron Paul constantly quotes Martin Luther King, and their views absolutely match almost 100%.

Do you really think MLK would agree with Affirmative Action or political correctness? No...MLK wanted to eliminate the word "race" through education because it is ALWAYS wrong to group people by something as stupid as the color of their skin.

  • Another schmuck added to Socialist Progressive Biased MSNBC this O'Donnell is that they added to the rest of them. Tyring to distort Mr. Pauls words, attack his son and indirectly calling him a racist. Witness the Biased Insane trying to assassinate the Character Of A Respected(one of the few)Congressmen. What a jerk, this O'Donnell idiot just gave me a good reason to cancel my COMCAST Cable Service. I've no intentions of supporting Marxist / Commies who invites on people ONLY to Attack Them.

  • O'Donnell? How did he ever get a job?

  • Ron Paul can't defend his own views. That's all there is to it.

With this "Mox News" thing you make it seem like a Liberal bias in the media is wrong, but a conservative bias is okay. But ultimately you are just drawing attention to the fact that Fox News calls itself "fair and balanced" it's NBC where a bias is admitted.

Ron Paul went on with the understanding that Liberalism would be defended, not just an interview, but a debate, and he was beaten bad.

  • Liberty DOESN"T mean sanction. Someone ought to have the right to do heroin. Do I think he ought to do Herion? Hell no! Should someone forbid a black person - because he's black - from entering his store. No! But if it's his store he should have a right to act irrationally. He risks suffering the economic consequences of his irrationality, e.g. if the Cultural demographics change in his area. Like Paul said there's a confusion as to the nature of rights.

  • If Ron Paul has a good explanation for the statement, why should it be so hard to give it? I hate it when anyone, even Ron Paul who I thoroughly respect, comes onto a program like this and complains about the principles of debating. If his position is strong enough to withstand scrutiny, then these exchanges shouldn't come off as so difficult for him.

  • Lawrence O'Donnell IS A DICK!!I see GE and the left pussy are out to keep Obama's dick you your ass!!

  • god damn, I love ron paul but he is so cranky

  • fuck the gov, if i dont want to serve blacks thats my own damn business, now they banned smoking, hmm next they'll ban free thought and opinions.

    LEAVE ME ALONE GOVT

  • Ron Paul= Lying asswipe

  • MSNBC is just as terrible as fox news

  • I hope it does not take as long to get rid of this commie as it did Olberdouche.

  • Lawrence O'Donnell is a moron. He tries to pin down Ron Paul by taking quotes out of context and assuming that Americans don't understand history. Ron Paul did a great job of defending himself from what can only be described as an unfair attack.

  • RON PAUL - truth prevails. good wins over evil and stupidity !

I love how Ron Paul laughs at his pitiful distortions!! Ron's such a hero

  • In fact, why would anyone want to force private businesses to accept everyone? If businesses are allowed to discriminate, then it will be obvious to the public which business owners are racist and which are not, and people of conscience will not give their business to the racist private businesses, essentially making them have to close down their business. If you force a business owner to accept everyone, then how will a consumer know or not if they are conducting business with a racist?

  • O'D completely missed the point on everything Paul said. You get rid of government segregation by repealing the racist, not by imposing more laws that essentially force people to be not racist. Racism is disgusting, but coercing racists to not be racists is even more disgusting. A private store should have the right to discriminate because, guess what, it's a fucking private institute not provided by the government.

  • Wow a professional troll that still gets his ass kicked even on his best attempt to villinize a good and righteous man. GO RON PAUL!!!!!

  • Where's Rachel Maddow when you need her? This clown exemplifies what's wrong with MSNBC. Opinion is fine, but you don't insult your guests. Not even Bill O'Reilly does that. His guests keep coming back!

  • lawrence o'donnell is a scumbag

  • Lawrence O'Donnell seems like a troll...

  • Wow what a hit piece. These 2 guys really seemed to get on each others nerves under the surface then this guy hones in on a civil rights act quote and makes it 1/3 of the interview. Lol! What a hit piece. Ron Paul was wrong on that but I see where he is coming. Wow. The interviewer made it sound like he was against the civil rights movement. Real hit piece here. Can't believe this is the first time I'm seeing this.

  • I think this is the last interview Lawrence will get with Ron Paul :)

  • Logic vs. emotion. That's why Doctor Paul always wins. Even in this cherry picking attempt at character assassination I thought he came out on top.

  • This host belongs on MSNBC! You can tell he only cares about getting the answer he thinks he should hear. I just got finished watching him tonight, and alas, the same thing. But today, he actually asked a question, didn't get the response he wanted...so he changed the question after all the answers had been given, and criticized the guests for not answering the new question he made up (after the answers were given). LOL.. Makes me laugh. These ppl!

  • Anyone who has read Ron Paul's own words on these issues and has an understanding beyond the television sound bytes, knows that Lawrence is intentionally manipulating and misrepresenting Ron Paul's positions and then allowing him a few seconds to explain his complex views that cannot be adequately explained in such a short period of time. This is not how you make progress toward truth.
