The air in Mongolia is fresh and scented, especially in summer when everything comes alive. A walk through the pine forests gathering strawberries and mushrooms or a relaxing afternoon beside the poplars while you fish or swim in the rivers is quite something. Riding horses, seeing the livestock grazing freely in the land of 250 sunny days a year is always a unique experience. I can a name more than a 1000 things beautiful about Mongolian nature, but why bother.

Boring brown steppes, grasslands, ugly townships without toilets or food, people litter everywhere. I stayed in a ger camp where all Mongolian got drunk at night and broke bottles in the river. So much for love of nature ! Nature was made by God, it's nothing for humans to be proud of ! I'm proud of the new Beijing subway system despite not being Chinese. It's a human achievement. Nature isn't !
