i got a 700 artacat and 6" lift 23'' on them and do this my quad cost me 21 grand with everything done to it and it runs like a champ. after each ride wash it take it a part and clean everything. im mean everything and it lasted me 3 years just about 6 quad rallys a year.

seriously.......you can do whatever you want to your machines......they will not last like my hondas have over the years. i still have a 300 fourtraxx that runs fine and that i have put through hell since 1988!! never been in the shop, and it has seen more mud, ponds, and creek than you'll ever see in a lifetime. the odometer has 4500 miles on it, nothing but trails and mud. all other quads suck llama nuts and are obsolete in my eyes(meaning they don't exist for some of non edumacated ones)

They are called All Terrain Vehicles for a reason. And the reason they are doing wheelies is to keep the air intake clear, so there is nothing wrong with it, i think some even had snorkals. As long as they are kept clean and looked after, they'll keep going.

@Fordguy7993 well i didnt give a description of all the mods i've added over the years. the comment was getting extensively long. i've had the motor bored (over time) to .60 lifted it 4 inches put itp mudlites on it, new cam, full HMF exhaust. i mean i've got newer quads with more money in them but i was just saying, you can make something extreme and still make it last, i have probably dumped 4 grand in it in extras over that time period

@mineyours9 Because its fun. I ran my Big Bear in mud holes and creeks like this for 5 years. The electrics in mine were marine grade from the factory. As much as mine was under water, I only had to repair the choke slide on the carb and lube the choke cable. I even got water past my snorkel and all I had to do was pull the spark plug and fire it over a few times, put it back in and it fired up. Of coarse I washed it good after each run. These machines can take it.

@jfkyz125 Hydro lock is when you get water in your engine, which these guys are avoiding by using snorkels. In case you dont know what that is, its the big tube coming up from the front of the atv. You wont get 'hydro-lock' as long as your not a fucking retard. Unless you have a blown gasket, or a hole in your block, you wont have to be worried about it.
