The audio was good on this one. When they played this concert on the Palladia channel, there were audio problems. So much so that it made me not want to buy the DVD, so I didn't. Now I'm not sure what to think. Maybe Palladia screwed up the playback.

I would also like to add that his wide variety of music makes his best songs stand out more,kinda like creating tension and goin into a place of chaos only to bring it back to sanity really takes me on a journey of comfort then tension and resolving it again highlites his storytelling.if u play fast all the time it doesnt seem fast.if u play "pretty" without some "ugly" to counter it theres no drama.its a beautiful thing as a whole.

I don't even consider Vai to be a "shred" guitarist. Just an instrumentalist. When I think I of shredding I think guys like Rusty Cooley or Dave Martone. Guys that primarily rely on sweep picking 90% of the time and there's typically no real melodic theme to their music. Which is not the case with Vai, Satch or Gilbert.
