  • About a year ago ive noticed i have bad posture. So I tried to pull my shoulders back as much as possible. This made my posture worse and my neck looks like a giraffe. I think my shoulders have droppped alot. Can you please help me!

  • @DLozinski25 I'm sorry to hear you've had problems with your posture. I can't help you if I can't see you so I recommend seeing a health care practitioner and also checking out 'Forward Head Posture' on my website and also Best Posture Products where you will see I offer an online posture analysis. Thanks for your question.

  • Start with the Forward Head Posture category on my home page. Go to posturevideos dotcom and under 'categories' you will see Forward Head Posture and there you will find several videos to help you.

  • i have foward head posture can someone please help me how can i fix it?

  • Hello, I have uploaded a video response. I am 20 and DXed with EDS Hypermobility. I noticed the 'hump' in June last year whilst losing weight. It is painful and I'm not sure what it is or what to do. I am going to the doctor tomorrow, but I wanted to say that your videos have been helpful. I have learnt a lot about posture. Although I am not sure what is happening to me yet. I was wondering if you could take a look and maybe have some advice??? I have tried to put clear photographs.Thank you xx

  • @KaiSiJoAmos24 Hello, thank you for your questions. Hypermobility can certainly be problematic. So although it may make you a great dancer or gymnast, you are likely to be more vulnerable to mild traumas then someone whose joints are slightly more stiff. If you were my patient (and I'm glad you are seeing your doctor or chiropractor) I'd examine you and possibly take neck and upper spinal x-rays to clarify the structure you demonstrate on your video.

  • Yes, hee hee, oops indeed!! Thought i'd leave it in (only human). LOL

  • I didn't noticed the slight Freudian slip before! lol

  • @wescoolya lold

  • thank you so much for these great videos!!

  • I think my neck alignment is exactly like that =/

  • My experience of 'lateral head tilt' or a bend to the side is that often it is due to a past trauma and most of these have been forgotten (a minor car accident years and years ago that we walked away from or a fall down stairs or off a bicycle etc.). It is difficult to advise on that which I haven't assessed so I recommend my service: 'Picture Posture Analysis' on my website under 'Best Posture Products'. Always seek the advise of a health practitioner before beginning new exercises.

  • My head naturally tilts to the right and all I can do to "correct" it is to keep it tilted to the left whenever I remember it through the day. Are there any exercises I can do to bring my neck back into proper alignment?

  • @berner best thing to do is have Alexander Technique lessons!

  • lol at 2:36

  • @nashst3r "uhuhuuh huhu hu she said dick.." beavis & butthead

  • @nashst3r oops lol

  • Great question. I'm a huge fan of using my own version of special chin tucks. On my posture videos website you will find a video post called How To Gain Height Naturally. I love this exercise and show almost all of my patients with forward head posture. Part 2 and 3 of the series are on their way. Thanks!
