About a month after my grandpa died I bought lost dogs in need of some new PJ (I heard bad things about the album and always neglected buying it.) I was on my way to my Nana's (grandma) when I heard this song, it made me pull over and bawl my eyes out. It felt good to do that. When I saw my Nana I told her "I know Papa misses you."
I love Lost Dogs, it's full of excellent, mellow songs like this - ignore critics when it comes to Pearl Jam my friend.
I really like Hold On as well - for some reason they are the only band that actually makes me think that deeply, it's the only music I actually react to.
PJ make it seem like someone else understands, wish we still had more bands like them.
Maybe I'm getting older, but there seems to be no new bands that I remotely like. Pearl Jam changed my relationship with music, before Ten I don't know what I was listening to.
Faith No More did a reunion concert last year, and apparently, were incredible - would be great if they re-formed, would give me 2 bands to buy albums from :).

Although I am a huge fan of music and have songs on the internet that are at the top of the charts I am embarrassed to say I am not %100 sure what B-side means. I am assuming it's just a track recorded during the recording for an album but didn't make it on. But again I am not sure.
pretty much yeah, just refers back to Vinyls, where there would be two sides, the single would be on one side (A Side) and then the other side (B-side) would be other tracks that go along with the single, like tracks that didn't make the album, or tracks recorded for something else etc.
I have been a Pearl Jam fan for a long time and they never get old. The music finds a way to touch you even in the strangest circumstances. Thats whats so great about them, they have the musical tallent and the ability to continue to grow and play with such heart after all these years. They have gotten me through some rough times, and I only wish that more people would listen to them these days.
