WOW!!!...Didn't realise that one of my favourite artists sang this....What an artist with such a beautiful voice. My friend lived in De Freville Avenue Cambridge...That's where Olivia Newton John's family once lived.before they emigrated to Australia...smiles....I was so pleased because I lived not far away too...It made my day as Olivia Newton John was one of my very favourite artists at the time ..smiles...I think she should have lived a few streets down Sandy Lane...that would have been cool.

@taddyd1 This is a old folk song that goes back to the late 1800s if not futher,, though one of Olivia's crew played with the lyrics a bit. I can't remember if it was John Farrar or John Rostill or someone in that group.

No though he seems as acting here ;-). Afaik they were John Farrar and Bruce Welch (Hank Marvin has a bit higer voice). Btw, they say The Shadows started to live them alone, after Sir Cliff leaved the band after that "Power to all our friends" failed to won Eurovision Song Contest. So they needed a new start and Olivia was perfect for.
