  • the evo ix has a 4g63t right?

  • wait is that in ct

  • i remember my 05 RS soo beautiful i miss it so much :(

  • I have an EVO IX RS. No they don't have ABS. Not the best winter daily driver....but I don't daily mine. It's only got 9k miles. I love it.

  • i thought evos would put down more then 242whp stock lol i would smash on so many cars when i was stock its funny to think i only had 240whp and mustang gts couldnt keep up

  • Evo's run. No doubt. With a tbe, tune, walbro 255lph, intake, and a boost control this car WILL make 300+ to the wheels.

  • The rs is mainly use for rally. It's lighter, and better in handling, but it's missing wat a car suppose to have. i'll go wit the MR and its 6 speed. It's more fun to drive a 6 speed.

  • MR is WAY more comfortable. I drove my friend's MR from VA to CT and it was way more comfortable than my RS. I still love my RS though.

  • @TenshiR can you guys tell me the difference between the evo 9 rs and gsr?

  • the 6sp is a weak transmission

  • So I hear. the 6 speed is supposedly weaker. Luckily my friend hasn't had trouble with his. He is push nearly 400hp to the crank on a stock Transmission.

  • more like only 30 pounds lighter lol minus abs which is a bad thing for a daily driver.

  • 150lbs lighter to be exact.lol

  • 60.

  • 157lbs.;)

  • The USDM RS XIII and IX are both have abs.

  • I don't think the US RS comes with ABS. My wheels have locked up a few times when I first drove it in snow and when broke really hard to avoid a cat...unfortunate for the cat..=o(

  • @TenshiR Correct, no ABS on the RS. Also no stereo, sound deadening material but adds a trunk bar for handling. Gives it less understeer and acts more like a RWD car. I have the VIII RS

  • i don't believe they manufacture cars without abs. especailly evos knowing the way they are driven

  • Depends on what you want to do with it. for everyday I'd go MS3. Its an awesome and really well balanced car. Also with new you know it hasn't been beat on like cheap h0..rse.personally 21 is high for me to get a used car. I got a awesome deal for my RS brand new. I paid 25. I wouldn't trade it for anything. The new Ralliart Lancer coming out might be around the same price and its like a watered down Evo X. AWD, turbo, & ACD.

  • Norwalk, Connecticut.

  • In my opinion, the RS is the best one. It comes with the same HP, The same torque, and the same engine. the only difference is, that it lacks the extras. instead of BBS rims, it comes with generic ones, and it does not have the (Gravel, Snow, or Dirt electronic feature, that comes with the others, which is better in my opinion. But most importantly, it is lighter than the other trims by about 70lbs.

  • Actually the IX RS does have the ACD ( Tarmac, Gavel, Snow) Feature. I would like the BBS rims though.

  • good good

  • how is it rice? it kicks a mustang gts ass by car lengths buddy.

  • yea f**k you man rice is a slow car with a pop can exhaust not a n evo with boost da. what do you have by chance a gramas grocery getter lol with a fukin pop can exhaust prob an automatis 2 lol

  • Do the EVO RS's have the same engine as the regular EVO 9's? I heard that you have to build stuff into them, I don't have knowledge on the RS's.

  • All the 9s have the same motor. RS & GSR have the 5 speed gear box. MR has the 6 speed.

  • Gotta love the RS

  • holy shit!
