i had a parrot cichlid that did this and i saw it die in my hands. because when a fish loses its equillivrium it goes belly up and theres is nothing you can do IMSO SORRY ABOUT THIS HAPPENING TO YOU

Looks like the fish is in shock. Brain is dying but body is still fighting. Check your water levels. Get an API master test kit. Get some substrate as well.

hm, we changed the basic concentration, so the fish was likely not adaptable to the new environment. Also, this fish was already dying before we added the new water.

yes i remember my fish went into shock from the water temperature when i put him in. i relized my error and have fixed my ways ever since but he did the same thing when he went into shock.

actually, we took out the fish and poured fresh new water and also some powdery stuff that cleans water. When we placed the fish back in, all the fish were adjusted to the water, except this one :(
