We did a three part investigation of the poorhouse, the third part was with the Booth Brothers for Children of the Grave 2, i caught 4 pretty good pics and about 20 evps.this place is very active...

my dad owned the haunted house there awhile back i can probably tell you alot about it ... but just so you now it is NOT safe to be in it could fall at any moment

I used to go to school there.. in the 70s. Mount Vernon Bible College. The thought of it being haunted never crossed my mind. The rumors of kids being killed in an elevator was "created" by the folks who made it into a "haunted house". It was a great place to live and to learn. I enjoyed living in that building. Had great roommates. It's sad that the building has come to such a ruin. I wish someone could purchase it, and revive it... make it like it used to be.
