Ah, the opening theme of The Lucy Show brings me back. In the late 70s-early 80s they used to air syndicated reruns of both shows (in New York city) around 4 or 5 in the AM. Usually I wasnt up that early, but the few times I was, I would stay up to watch. I dont recall episodes of this show the way I have others memorized. But the opening theme I still remember. It brings back fond, nostalgic memories of me as a kid, sitting in front of the tv watching reruns of my favorite classic tv shows.

As much as I love The Lucy Show, this is one plot I could hardly find belivable. I mean, in real life George Burns would NOT be so quick to hire someone within a few minutes of meeting her, especially if that person had absolutely no previous show business experience. Having decades of experience under his belt, he certainly knew better than to hire someone completely untried.
