wonderful and pleasant surprise to find this song on youtube, it reminds me my friend Mohammad Rafique Mughal who saw this movie in 1951 in gujranwala Pakistan and very fond of every dialogue and song of this film. Film Badal was great Musical hit. This was also made in Telugu in which NTR acted and the film was named Jayam manade and it was also a big hit. Each and every song was excellent and even after many decades they are fresh.These songs are our cultural treasures in fact.
How simplicity of music and lyrics can leave an everlasting impact on us mortal souls. This song is an example of such moments........decades ago engraved in my mind.

this tuneful song of shankar-jaikishan takes me down memory lane --57 years back. yes i was in school when our music teacher and a girl student were seen rehearsing this song for school annual function . i could not move from the spot for a few seconds as the fragrance of this melody was too much to let go. it simply mesmerized me.
my beloved uncle died last night .. he was always demading of this song to play ... I am listening this song just in his memories!
