Ooooh, using the colored pencil on top, makes much of the same effect as when you use a dry paint brush on top of wet in wet when doing aquarel... Never thought of combining these two, such great advice in what you're doing! I'll try to combine water colors and my pencils (don't have markers yet)!!! Cool!!!!
I have a question too... Hope you or somebody at prismacolor can answer. You use a lighter tone to blend streakiness in a darker tone. Doesn't the color from the darker tone bleed onto the lighter tone's tip? Also, if you use the colorless blender on top of dark colors then use it on a blank field, couldn't you end out transferring color from the previous place you were? If I bought such expensive and nice markers, I would be so afraid of harming them... Thanks a lot for clearifying!
@LottaTroublemaker well after you use a colorless blender or lighter tone, you take a scratch sheet of paper and color on it until its back to its normal tone, or for the colorless blender back to just a clear coat. thats what i always do at least, and its worked for me for the past year
very nice tutorial...!
