The most useless maneuver ever! That'll get you shot down instantly, dumb fuck reds. And Yes the F-22 can do a cobra. The terminator has even been bested by the F-15. Well documented too. I don't really have much info on the F-22 dog fighting capabilities but I will always, ALWAYS vote for those stars and stripes!
Surely this should be entitled "Plane Stunts" as previously suggested. This pilot is a champion, no doubt. Kudos to him and to the pilots who fly Jumbo jets and land them in extreme situations.
Yeah, I would to. Too bad the days of true dogfights are over. In air combat, the F-22 can take down Mig-29 and SU-37 simultaneously before they have the chance to counter attack.
No, I watched a documentary on an F-22 on History Channel. I'm no pilot, I am just a wannabe pilot, I attend Aviation Technical High School in Long Island City, NY. My statements aren't opinions, they are facts.
Some how I doubt that. There's an old saying, Good thing about American Jets is it makes bad pilots into average, but also make good pilots into average. Russian jets put a bad pilot in a coffin, but make a good pilot into a great one. Russian planes carry a much better 1 to 1 relationship with their plane. I doubt the full computerized system on F-22 (Also Fly-By-Wire) would allow the pilot to do these type of maneuvers.
@adelaidejoe isnt true. I thought they have Vector-Trusted Engines. So you need only Software to do these Maneuvers....We did this at our Acro-Area one time to....It isnt even afforded to have some Talent....just pull
@adelaidejoe that type of flying relies on vectored thrust to enable you to recover from what is effectively a stalled aircraft. The methods used to control the thrust and control surfaces is totally irrelevant and could be rods, wires or anything and the system would still work. As an example, the GR1 & GR3 Harriers were not fly-by-wire and yet they had vectored thrust...
@adelaidejoe A computerized system would allow the pilot to put the aircraft in a stall? yes, it would... how much effort would it take, enough to make even a great pilot not able to perform a cobra maneuver.
@macfahad ya know thats very rude a lot of good men gave their lives so you could be sitting on your ass right now writing that comment ever heard of the revolutionary war? the war of 1812? the civil war which almost tore our country apart! and what do you do you say that our planes suck!!! keep it to yourself asshole
@macfahad Look at the Eurofighter. It shouldn't by the laws of physics fly, but yet it can do amazing acrobatics with it's electronics. Americans generally create the best multi-role jets, where they are good all round. The Russians generally make great interceptors. Look at the Typhoon war games in the states. 2 Typhoons wiped a squadron of F-15s in seconds. The thing is nowadays, most wars are fought with intelligence and electronics, rather than pure skill and courage.
@ARMY458 Here's the first one --- Well if you would have learned to read, you would have seen that I didn't say it was a F-22 Raptor.
Heres another one --- Well if you would have looked closely and knew something about fighter jets, you would have seen that this is not an F-22 Raptor OR a F-15 Eagle. :) I will leave you at that.
@ARMY458 Man.. you seriously need help reading bro! lol ... the comment where i referred to F-22 is still there..
Ill help you.. hold down ctrl key and click the f key. This opens a find box that will search stuff for people who cant seem to have the attention span to search for something lol

Not saying the Su-37 is crap but an F-22 can do a way better job at slowing down and doing all kinds of tricks in mid air at extremely low speeds.

how do you know, are you pilot? ever flied a F22 and a Su37? Or is your comment based on youtube videos?

you watched a documentary on the f22, wat about the su37... the su33 could trump the f22..
in the right situation a friggin su25 could trump many american fighters

Keywords: "in the right situation" which means an F-22 parked on the tarmac.

I wouldnt, the pilot must disable the fly by wire to do these things, and its hard to do these in an F-22 anyway.
JetlinerXPilotXFSX2 2 years ago
You muppet.... this can only be done with fly by wire technology.
