Whether we perceive a band to be a good or not usually comes down to personal taste. Going around and saying so and so sucks doesn't a change a thing. See I like Brown Brigade a lot. I'm not much of a Sum 41 fan like I used to be, but I'm not going around telling everyone that they suck and that my opinion is above everyone elses'.

First of all, get your facts right - The 'replacement guy' is just with the band for live performances / tours. He isn't actually part of the band.

Next, Sum 41 actually do rock, you're forgetting that the band wasn't all about Dave. There are 3 other members, all of which are great.

Finally, there's no point in trying to compare Brown Brigade to Sum 41 as they are an entirely different band
