What breed of geese are these?

Hi- these geese are domesticated, so they are too heavy bodied to fly.

Also, raised as farm animals, they like to stay with their flock and stay close to thier guardian dogs for safety. They will panic if they somehow do get on the wrong side of the fence and make every attempt to get back to the group.

Sometimes if the wind is just right, they will run, take off and soar down the hillside alongside me in Im walking in the fields. (they get very excited about that!)
