You can actually just select the DVD on the browsing menu rather than the video folder. HandBrake will gather all info from the DVD (both video and audio) automatically.

I actually had to set a destination folder as soon as I chose the source file though, but that was no problem (I guess this only happens once, when you first use the program). I'm working step by step with your video, so now I'm waiting for the conversion to finish so I can put it on my iPad... Can't wait! :)

@jsubroto2 you right click on the movie, and there it should be a tab which says "open with". Click there, and the n click on the itunes. There is another way, easier. same, right click on the movie, then deep down there should be a bar which says "properties" click there. On the top, there should be an icon of the program that youre currently using for the movie (vlc, windows media player, quick time etc), click change, and search for itunes. then click apply. Ure welcome :)

@jsubroto2 EXACTLY. YOu use the perfect program that the uploader uses, you just change it to an mp4 version, and then as I said, change it from VLC, or Quick Time or whatever program it used before to ITUNES.

@ReffstrupProduction yes it does :) i have loaded several movies to my ipad 2, it does take my computer a very looooong time to do it but the sound and picture are great! if i have a movie over an hour, i just starts the program before i go to bed.

I have tried this with several DVD's. The process runs smoothly until I play. The picture is a bynch of small pixel squares. Am id dong something wrong? Even in preview it is this way

VLC has now an app for the ipad

its a free app, no converting, you just add files to vlc app throuh itunes

@15081612 ok. I found this. I'm not sure it will help but there are two issues possibly. One is that the DVD is copy protected and Handbrake can't decrypt it. This happens a lot with Sony DVD's. Is yours a Sony?
