  • I had the pleasure of playing the bass on this cool collection of steel players that could really play, not to forget Gore on sax and John Propst on piano. Oyes Louie Bellson on drums(great), Henry strzelecki

  • I had the honor to be on the same stage with Julian in Panama, City , I played Steel Guitar Rag with him and he blew me away! Thanks to Slick Evans for introducing him to me!

  • Julian was truely amazing!!!

    He is sooooo greatly missed!!

  • Truly a great collection of some of the very best players - too bad no video to go with it, but their autographs are nice to see.

  • Some dang good playin' by some of the best ever.

  • Just to let you know, I am Julian Tharpes grandson, Sean Tharpe... He was an amazing player! :D

  • MY GOD!!!!! Would you listen to Emmons!!!! he's from another planet!!!

  • WOW is all I can say....If I could pick like that I'd never hoe another row....Kinda miffed that the guy didn't announce Jimmy Day. I could tell which solo was his though, his style is unmistakable.

  • Glad to see they left the best Steelie (Lloyd Green) till last! :-)

And then, after the session, they all went and sat quietly, in a darkened room........lol

  • I dont know how i managed to miss this, whereas my chum in the north east of France was on it like a shot.
