This was NOT made by "colorfolks." First of all, the voices were by the radio actors, Freeman Gosden and Charles Correll. They were WHITE. Further, the cartoons (2) were made by the Van Beuren Studio in New York, a white establishement. It was not until AMOS N' ANdy went to television in 1951 that the star characters were cast with REAL black actors. I hope this helps set the record, this being "Black History" Month.

On the ORIGINAL RADIO version of the show, Amos 'n' Andy were played by white actors Freeman Gosden and Charles Correll. Interestingly enough, even on the radio version there was never any real distinction between white characters and black ones. All the characters were given equal treatment in situations.
