I came to Christ in an American Baptist Church. When I visited other churches, I found them having the same doctrine, Christ. (I didn't go to a Catholic Church) Why are those attending with pamphets stating nondenominational (ND) the believers? What does it mean other than having groups binding together? I see 'Christian Fellowship' (ND) groups doing the same thing. (I settled in one for a while.) My present church is ND, but we started up another in a next county. Are we really denominational?

@seastorm12 - There is only one true Christian Church. Everything else is a counterfeit or cult. There may be thousands of independent churches around the globe, and IF they use the Christian Bible as the authority for all faith and practice, they are a member of the Christian Church – regardless of the name on the front of the building. I belong to the Christian Church, even through the shingle outside says "ABC Fellowship". The name isn't important; the doctrines and teachings taught do!

You see, virtually ALL scholars know and acknowledge that the rapture theroy was basicly unknown and untaught untill a man named John Nelson Darby came along. Darby was founder of the Plymouth Brethren Church. He described a "system" of biblical interpretation called Dispensationalism.

Later, Darbys ideas were refined and made popular by C.I Scofield. This teaching is blatantly unscriptual.

Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

If your Church does not teach you to keep all God's 10 Comd's through a repentant faith relationship with Christ as per the prophetic message, then you need to find one that does.

Wow, I've never heard a Protestant quote "You cannot serve God and mammon". I'm not Catholic and some of their theology seems pagan (eg, Jesus needing to die to satisfy the wrath of an angry Father God, Purgatory to satisfy God's offended honor), but I don't know if Protestants can point fingers about idolatry, considering how they usually serve God and mammon and it would never occur to them that covetousness is a sin, even though it is listed as a big sin many times in the Bible.

The dating has nothing to do with SDA, which first claimed 1844 and then 1845 as important potential dates for Christ's 2nd Advent. It has to do when the Church moving into a time of conjoined secularism and religious faith.

No. Did I say one must be part of a non-denomination church to be a member of Christ's True Church? No. I said in order for a particular church or denomination to qualify, they must adhere 100% to the doctrines of Christ, and the Bible is the final authority for faith and practice.

I was not saying the non-denominationals were exclusively part of the Church, but inclusive. Unlike the Roman Pontiff who states everyone or every denomination outside of the Catholic faith is "deficient" and outside of salvation, I am saying that even those who simple gather in Jesus' name and follow His teachings, and are not a part of any organized denomination, are still a part of the Christian Church.

even those who are a part of an organized denomination, who teach the teachings of Christ, obey his commandments for salvation and live holy are a part of the true biblical Church. There are a plenty of non- denominational churches who are teaching a hot mess for salvation (example, say this prayer, Dear Jesus, I accept you into my heart as Lord & savior) and tell them they are saved instead of telling them what Peter told them on the day of Pentecost. No repentance, no baptism, no Spirit birth.

Are you sure Jesus wan't just talking about the churches in John's lifetime. For example to the church of Thyatira Jesus talking about Jezebel said "And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not." this is the 4th church mentioned yet he's talking in the past tense.

The letters to the 7 churches had a local church in which they were addressed. But also as I said in the video, the prophecies contained in the letters showed the 7 stage development of Christ's Church from the 1st century to our present day.

Ah! It is neither refreshing nor soothing. It was much like the water that was brought into the city or Rome via the ancient aqueduct.  The water turned lukewarm and brackish.
