The female painted in Tutankhamun's burial chamber has paler skin than the males. If this is Ankhesenamun, then it contradicts the image on the throne. On the throne, the figures' flesh is made of inlaid, reddish-brown stone. (Perhaps there wasn't a suitable inlay for a paler colour.) Clearly the Ancient Egyptians resembled the modernern Copts, their direct descendants.
