ive encountered lapille once before at a butler pa event, maybe pittsburg i cant remember, and ive never encountered a more strict and enforcing rules lawyer. he is even dickish about it, not like "i normally dont call the judge for stupid stuff", he was like "maybe if you didnt suck and misplay..."... what a loser!

(about to sound horribly noobish) I've been playing magic for years, but didn't stick my head out of the hole that is my group of friends. So can someone explain to me what T1 T1.5 and T2 are and what standard/extended/vintage are? I thought I knew but this video confused what i thought it was. Thanks for any responce

T1 is vintage, T1.5 is extended and T2 is standard. This means what cards you can use for a deck (card sets, card restrictions and banned cards). Any more info then that you're gonna have to visit the wizards site or wikipedia.

Sanctioned magic is divided into numerous formats, each with different banned and restricted lists, so that the competition remains accesible and enjoyment to a wide variety of players.

ti, t1.5, t1.X and t2 are simply alternate names for these formats.
