wow im going to this shit in york good tribute band he moves like phil on sage voice good dime looks just like him even his dean thought id never get a chance to see them so sad when your favorite band no longer around this is awesome
I've never seen Pantera live, unfortunately they aren't around anymore, and as I'm only 17 I never got the chance to see them. Luckily, these guys are playing at a local venue and I'm going to see them. Hopefully they'll be the next best thing.
he does a good job at playing the songs. no shredding! the songs, but as for his stage present. id rather watch a dead cow... no one looks like theyre gettin into it. but theyre still awesome
@JACKWRIGHTISBORED, dont take this show as a great example of stage presence, its up here cos its one of the first shows we managed to get a good sound from our camcorder. The fact is this gig was number 4 of 4 2hr shows in a row, id had 3hrs sleep the night before, was up all night partying, and was infact asleep until 5mins before we started playing. i literally woke up and played. And if you saw the show, you'd know that it isnt well represented by these clips - except sound wise.
Er? so Paul gilbert recently doing a tribute act to The Who? With gary cherone of extreme is a load of toss too? Thats Extreme, by the way - the guys i toured in support of most recently playing my 'own shit'. Damn gonna have to stop learning so many covers all the time if it makes people think its the only thing i do!
I find it fine to cover songs of bands but I just dislike cover bands. Its great to keep the spirit of Dime alive but damn be your own person; That's what Pantera stood for. Play your own shit and throw Pantera songs in there if you want.
jesus christ!!!...you obviously have talent...and you're still young enough to be your own man...by not doing your own thing you go exactly against everything pantera stood for

Phil, vinny, rex, and kerry king or zack should be the only ones to play a pantera cover
