@blaineholloway -- Why? The movie didn't officially get released until 1990. My post is simply a trailer for a movie released in 1990, which is why "(1990)" is after the title of the film, instead of the word "trailer". ;-)
@Coolestmovies Well, the movie was released in 1990, but it was made in 1987. Read the Roman numberals at the many title shows in the trailer (and at the end).
@blaineholloway --- You're right, but for me, release dates always take precedence over filming dates, even if the latter are in the copyright info. Just a personal preference. This movie never saw the light of day until 1990. Plenty of movies are shelved, sometimes for years, before getting theatrical or video play, but the year attributed thereafter (in books, websites like IMDB) can go either way, regardless of what the copyright footers say. At IMDB and elsewhere, this film is 1990.
@Coolestmovies This film is a special case, though, because the content was filmed in 1970, but this spoof was constructed in 1987, but then it wasn't released until 1990. Sites like IMDB actually rarely list films with a year of release. It's always the year it was "made", as in it stopped filming and went into post-production. But also, where a film has mutliple release dates (theatrical, vhs, tv), it's better to just list the year it was "made". Anyway, great trailer and thanks for sharing.
@dwegowy77 -- You have my sympathy. I've watched it just as many times, probably more considering I first received the preview cassette about 17 years ago! Sadly, there is no cure, except to watch it AGAIN!
This trailer was made in 1987. Probably best to change it.

Am I sick for having watched it dozens of times? It leaves an indelible mark on your brain that you can only stop from itching by watching it again.
