I wish they would have kept Perkins and losing Nate Robinson off the bench is a factor no-one talks about but he provided a real offensive spark and was a good nuisance defender. He made an impact in the Orlando series and against the Lakers in the finals.

I have to say , out of all my years of watching basketball i never seen a team that close to one another like the celtics are. they are a real FAMILY . if u look at other teams i bet you'll never compare their closeness to the boston celtics.

for a guy like Perkins you must be willing to pay some money.he is a great defender and very underrated player.he can also score,we all saw that in 2009 playoffs,and also Celtics never lost series with the starting 5 (rondo,allen,pierce,granett and perkins).keep that in mind

@martinrotar Yo AMMO doesnt know what hes talking about. Green and Perkins cost about the same to resign, im pretty sure Green cost more. Ainge was focusing on the future and not the present. I think it was a stupid idea, Ainge should have waited at the end of the year when they won the championship to talk about Perks new contract, instead hes focusing on the future.

@wozzers2 Actually he is right about that. Did you see the last game against the Knicks? The whole bench played great without the starters and led them to win so anyone of them can save the team when their in some kind of trouble.

@MrCelticsproduction when doc said last year nate will save us in a game i believed it whole heartedly really did this year i just don't believe it will happen the celtics felt like homecourt was a massive advantage and came up empty in the final 20 games last season rebounding was an issue and it came back and hit them in a big way last season cause that was the main reason why they lost the game and they were pretty crap and rebounding with perk kg is the best rebounder we have with 9 boards
