  • This is very disturbing. Vote improprieties, jokes about missing WMDs, jokes about obstruction of justice, romantic notions of war. Government out of control.

Mainstream media is a joke. Americans must be informed. Make DVDs of your favorite videos. Share them with your family and friends. Give them away. Educate your Compatriots. Time is short. We must act.

Attend Public rallies forming nationwide. Schedules at IMPEACHBUSH(dot)org.

    Print them

  • You know I am a computer progarmmer and what he did was simply analyze the insides of the machine. You need to check the firmware 100% in order to find out if it's rigged or not.

  • Very true.

  • go back to the stone age way of voting. hand ballots.

  • another thing, why don't they give up this optical scanning and systems with touchscreen monitors(A WASTE of TIME and ultimately impractical and costly aesthetic choise), just put some solid buttons for the choices and you put stickers or an LCD screen for the names of the candidates....DONE.

  • This REALLY REALLY worries me. I agree with senatorped WHY WOULD IT NEED A MODEM?!! that makes no sense!!! even if it needs to communicate to anything the serial port should do this.

The real problem that knowing the architecture is kind of useless since everything that controls the system is programmed onto the chips. This is entirely different than the software the Bev Harris discovered in "Hacking Democracy." it's firmware designed to control that specific embedded system.

  • Why would it need a modem? Who or what is the vote counting machine communicating with and when?

  • second and third part here: youtube(dot)com/user/BlackBoxVoting

  • Totally ridiculous.

  • Bev-

What did he say at 01:25? "Looks like somebody added their own..."?

Thank you and God bless you & Susan!!

  • ALL SCANNED BALLOTS SHOULD BE HAND COUNTED, PERIOD! MACHINE COUNT SHOULD BE USED ONLY AS A FORECASTER. E-MACHINES WITHOUT PAPER TRAIL SHOULD BE BANNED.

I urge everyone to send email to Lou Dobbs on CNN demanding he cover the NH fraud. He is the only one that will.

  • ALL ACCUVOTE BALLOTS SHOULD ALSO BE HAND COUNTED ALSO, PERIOD.

Everyone - Send an email to Lou Dobbs at CNN demanding he cover the voting fraud in NH !!! One segment where he demonstrates another Diebold machine hacking in one minute is found elsewhere on YouTube.

A manual recount is easy because the machines are scanners, so there is paper to count.

YouTube Power! SEND THEM EMAILS OUT..

  • It is unclear what we are trying to accomplish here. The machine is a computer, and a fairly standard one. Whether it is a "late model" is of no importance whatever (after all, the alternative is a paper ballot). Are we to assume that technicians will be allowed access to a voting machine in the middle of an election without proper oversight by Election officials?? No matter the technology, any machine can be hacked. The important thing is the oversight, and how that works.

  • Yes, technicians are routinely allowed access to the machines in the middle of elections without oversight by officials. See the Jan. 9 08 article at BlackBoxVoting - dot - org

  • black: I'll take your word for it. Presumably, a disgruntled employee working for the LHS people could have major influence on an election. I believe you can use a company to install voting machines, but I believe you also need a techie that works directly for the election commission (or whatever they are called). And plenty of oversight any time one of those machines is touched. Holy cow.

  • The Jan 9 article contains a photocopy of the criminal record of one of the principals at LHS, the same guy that stated on the radio that he supports the idea of replacing memory cards during an election, and keeps memory cards in the trunk of his car.

  • black: yeah, I saw that when i was looking at your site earlier this evening. Not sure what all that means, but at the least, they should have known about it.

  • What are we doing letting our most valuable resource, our vote, be stored in technology that is outdated and easily corrupted?

  • Ignore Ajna. The tech clearly identified all the parts, so he knows what he is doing.

My big question: According to the date on the firmware... 99-3-14... what the hell are they doing using software written in 1999 in an election in 2008?

  • That's the point. And yet, he quickly identifies a number of vulnerabilities, almost all of which have been corroborated by university studies and/or security experts. This video is in the context of technicians running around with access to the machines, and the common practice of sending voting machines home with poll workers for sleepovers. The point: It doesn't take a national security expert to figure out the exploits.

  • OMG I wouldn't trust this guy to rewire a plug, let alone evaluate a piece of hardware. He doesn't come across as an expert for a second.
