Iappreciate you showing this vid... Is there any fishing on the N. Branch, to anyone's knowledge? Years ago, no way due to the paper mill at Luke. I wonder about today.
Its so interesting to see the Potomac like that...I regularly float much calmer sections sections of the North Branch- Rawlings, MD to Pinto, MD and Pinto, MD to Potomac Park. We go in a canoe and consider it a rough day if we hit more than 10 little rocks throughout the course of a 6-hour fishing trip!
My very first cruise was there, in a slalom kayak (Galasport Vision) at 1000cfs. Looks a bit scary at first, but as long as u remember to keep the paddle in the water, and go WAY left on Robin's Nest it's really safe and easy. Great first cruise place. (some paddling experience is required though)
